Survey Shows That Fox News Makes You Less Informed
A survey of American voters by World Public Opinion shows that Fox News viewers are significantly more misinformed than consumers of news from other sources. One of the most interesting questions was about President Obama's birthplace. 63 percent of Fox viewers believe Obama was not born in the US (or that it is unclear). In 2003 a similar study about the Iraq war showed that Fox viewers were once again less knowledgeable on the subject than average. Let the flame war begin!
I'd mod you up. Not because I love Fox News. I pretty much hate Fox News ...except I've been known to watch a video or three, of Andrew Napolitano on Youtube, defending Assange and taking on other unpopular topics that the right tries to ignore, no that's not it. I'd mod you up because Slashdot has an overpopulation of cock smoking MSNBC apologists.
It's too bad, I think they'd find me flexible and amenable to many of their "issues".
But with this "my shit don't stink" attitude, they can all go fuck themselves. No skin of my nose. I'm not vested in the mainstream outlets, I have no personal need to defend any of them, and pretend that I'm capable of unbiased metrics that will determine which is lying to us more.
