Man Changes Name to "Mark Zuckerberg" After Facebook Sues Him

An anonymous reader writes "This has to be the funniest Facebook name story in a while. Facebook disabled the account of Israeli entrepreneur Rotem Guez because he runs a business called the Like Store, where he sold Likes to advertisers. Guez countered by suing Facebook for deleting his accounts on the social network. Facebook countered with its own cease and desist letter. Guez didn't respond to Facebook's demands. Instead, he legally changed his name to Mark Zuckerberg. 'If you want to sue me, you're going to have to sue Mark Zuckerberg,' Guez reportedly told Facebook."

This guy's logic is well off. He's trying to harm Facebook by letting companies game it. He's a spammer.

Advertising. If it wasn't for the name change no one would have heard about the lawsuit and no one would have gave a shit if they did hear.

Right now, he's got tech websites listing his problem. When Facebook lists "Mark Zuckerberg" as a defendant which they would be legally required to do (they can't say the man formally known as Guez), then every news station in the world will have a teaser of "Facebook sues Mark Zuckerberg, news at eleven." 11:00pm: "Later on tonight, we'll have a story about Facebook suing Mark Zuckerberg. But now, here's the weather forecast..." Millions of people will tune out after hearing the teaser, and will probably log on to Facebook to tell their friends that Facebook is imploding.
