The iPhone maker has also brought suits against Android device manufacturers HTC and Motorola. Apple has faced criticism for its endless lawsuits designed to stunt competition from Google's Android, but a quick look at Android device shipments in the second quarter of 2012 reveals a key number that suggest Apple is right to worry." Spoiler alert: the number the article focuses on is 68 — as in, the 68 percent of the smart phone market in this year's second quarter that consisted of Android phones.

So are you saying that Samsung and other android phone manufactures should stop trying to mimic the iPhone and go their own path? That would be great, since there are other features that give an Android phone an edge over the iPhone. Unfortunately good quality handset hardware and seamless OS software upgrades aren't one of them.

And another thing. Google, at whose altar you probably worship, is a motherfucking ADVERTISING company. And guess what one of their activities is? If you said "video ads" then you're correct! And guess who originates many of the video ads that my company's tech serves? Well, I'll be damned if it ain't, you guessed it, GOOGLE.

Highly rated by whom? They may be fine devices, but mostly I'm flabbergasted by the notion that you think Samsung is an innovator here. Regardless of whether I think it deserves a lawsuit, Samsung has done nothing but copy Apple nearly verbatim, even down to the fucking icons. Not to mention if the S3 is so great, when can we expect to see it on AT&T? T-mobile? You won't because of the deals Samsung has to make with the carriers to get them to push these phones for the next month until the next whiz bang Android device comes out.
