Wozniak On the Samsung Patent Verdict

Samsung will of course appeal, and this case will go back and forth for months still, but Wozniak just wishes everyone could get along. 'I don’t think the decision of California will hold. And I don’t agree with it — very small things I don’t really call that innovative. I wish everybody would just agree to exchange all the patents and everybody can build the best forms they want to use everybody’s technologies,' he said."

Actually I suspect Woz gets a big bitchslap by the legal staff tomorrow morning.

You're right, at least according to Apple, it's not a patent on a rectangle with rounded corners, it's a patent on ANY rectangle.
When the judge in one of the cases asked Apple what Samsungs devices should look like to not infringe, they submitted a drawing of a triangular device with a circular screen.
