I just figured out Firefox no longer has a ROT13 viewer/editor.
This used to be a standard feature in browsers. When did Firefox lose it? I looked in about:config but there were no "ROT13" parameters. Is there a way to re-enable it?

it's really not a good idea to make reading slashdot obnoxious to readers... it has already been going downhill, and fast, recently. They really shouldn't make it a pain in the ass to read. Girls would like this, they could discreetly identify someone's perfume. People who collect flowers, insects, etc., could identify them too.
I find it funny that when it comes to technology it is getting harder to call something that can be quantified absurd, outrageous or even conspiracy.
Perhaps this is a reverse April Fools...it makes fools out of those that think its foolish.

I used to enjoy playing around with cryptography and letter substitution when I was 12, but I've since matured enough to understand that in most cases it is more trouble than it is worth. As an April fools joke, it is childish, at best. Perhaps the adults will be back in charge tomorrow...

Google Nose, right after shutting down Google Reader, which showed that Google's shit does, in fact, stink.
I have encrypted this posting using a very secret cypher known only to me. But I have a revolutionary break through and I can exchange information with strangers who might not have my key, public or private. Basically I encrypt it using XOR scheme, get this, TWICE! Am I the only one who finds this less amusing than it could be, given Google's astounding lack of foresight on killing Reader and other services? I'm surprised they didn't put a disclaimer on Google Nose saying "Google Nose will be closing April 2, 2013."
Make sure you don't export that. I think ROT-13 is still classified as a weapon by the US Government.
Actually, a sense of "smell" in an Andrioid device is the one missing hardware feature that prevents us from implementing a Trek tricorder on one. In the original series, they were always using it to do some kind of chemical analysis. You could even do some medical analysis that way, without the primitive animal assistance that currently requires..
