Simple Emergency Generators and Radio Receivers (Video)

Eton Corp. makes well-reviewed emergency radios and hand-cranked generators for emergency use. Timothy Lord talked with them at CES and made this video of how the devices work. Alternate video link @ tv.Slashdot.org.

    Dear Slashdot,
    PLEASE PUT BETA INTO PRODUCTION NOW.
    So we can have all these idiots boycott your site, and while their in the middle of their Nerdrage. We can have our normal discussions going about.

    It is like the parent who is the real problem, not whatever stupid UI decisions slashdot makes. Because you all know we will get use to it in a few weeks, and wouldn't really want to go back. These missing feature some will probably be added back others will be gone, but that is OK.
