Russian Hackers Stole Millions From Banks, ATMs
An anonymous reader writes Tens of millions of dollars, credit cards and intellectual property was stolen by a new group of cyber criminals. Group-IB and Fox-IT, in a joint research effort, have released a report about the Anunak hackers group (PDF). This group has been involved in targeted attacks and espionage since 2013. Anunak targets banks and payment systems in Russia and CIS countries. In Europe, the U.S., and Latin America, criminals were mainly focusing on retail networks as well as mass media resources. Anunak is unique in that it aims to target banks and e-payment systems. The goal is to get into bank networks and gain access to secured payment systems. As a result, the money is stolen not from the customers, but from the bank itself. If they manage to infect governmental networks, they use the infrastructure for espionage.

You make some good points. It's insane to think dogs can be bred to retrieve ducks, herd sheep, and track prey, yet humans are all the same (aside from the first mm of skin depth). Compare the prison populations in anyfirst world country and it's obvious blacks are prone to being criminals.

Crime is defined by the white people who arrest every black person they see. Any segregated neighborhood will have higher crime for that reason. And they aren't allowed to leave their neighborhood to move into white ones. But it's the black's fault for existing.

Exactly. Blacks with 100 IQ do about as well as whites with 100 IQ. I've known a black colleague whose IQ I'd estimate to be around 120. He was definitely one of the better workers at the company.
Now the elephant in the room is, do all the races have exactly the same IQ distribution amongst their population? Test results say no. Need citation? Just look up anything, SAT, GRE, MCAT, police dept entrance exams, fireman exams, military exams, straight IQ tests, anything. The body of evidence is overwhelming.

Wrong - the problem is people refusing to think critically about the true causes of poverty and crime, and being so blinded by your own racism that you can only conceive of a statistical correlation with on race as being an injustice perpetrated by a different race.

You completely mistook my response. I replied to the racism in the comment. People are a product of their environment. Some are more observant and adept and rise above their culture to become good people but most do not. The problem is not their race however. To judge anyone by anything other than their actions is unacceptable. The fact they grew up in terrible circumstances is not an excuse for their behavior but a reason. If you expect to solve the problem you have to attack the disease and not the symptoms. Tragically most who come from these kinds of places are irrecoverable. Some learn to change but most never will.

Environment is more important than IQ. There are plenty of highly intelligent criminals. If you educate people with high IQ and no moral convictions you end up with a very dangerous criminal.

The body of evidence is overwhelming. IQs have been steadily rising over the past century. The phenomenon even has it's own name: The Flynn Effect.
It seems that for the population as a whole, nurture and not nature has a strong effect on IQ. We have some indications of what that "nurture" may be - nutrition, education, household stability, etc.
So lets not jump on the "some races are naturally dumb" bandwagon quite yet, until we even out the nurture part.of the equation. Until we eliminate food insecurity in poor households, until an inner city school is just as good as a private school, until we've brought livable incomes to all, we should not and can not excuse the problem by saying some races just don't have what it takes.
We need to fix our society, because as it happens, we've set up a class of people (which partially correlates to some racial groups) to more likely fail than succeed. And that's a drain on the present and the future.

Your line of reasoning is flawed for the simple reason: you cannot attain intelligence without reaching some kind of morality. The main reason behind this phenomena is that you have to deeply understand logic. And a major part of the logic is learning about fallacies. Flawed reasoning is the first cause of immorality. Empathy, conscience, self-control, respect for others, kindness, tolerance, and fairness are all logical in your very own interest.

He's pointing out how stupid the AC poster was who asked "Look at who scores at the bottom of every IQ test, who is way over-represented in prisons, who is more likely to be unemployed, who is unable to commit to raising a child."
Males is a correct answer because females would be a wrong answer to those questions.
However you choose two groups of people, one scores higher than the other on any measure. You could compare Icelanders vs Swedes and one of them would have higher prison rates than the other etc.
There are other answers as well depending upon how you divided groups of people, e.g. Southern Italians vs Northern Italians, the southern ones are over-represented, so the answer would be "Southern Italians".

I've always thought that was the difference between wisdom and intelligence. It is possible to be very intelligent and yet be unwise or immoral. Sociopaths are often extremely intelligent.
If these hackers get into government sites, I would consider it an act of treason or warfare. Result should be death penalty or lifetime in prison.
If is a bank, then at least 50 years and a day in prison as a dishwasher.

This is one of the stupidest things I've ever read: "And they (blacks) aren't allowed to leave their neighborhood to move into white ones." This is just so incorrect on so many levels.
Blacks move into a white neighborhood? I've not heard of any burning crosses on anyone's lawn in a very long time. They are basically left alone. But should a white move into a black neighborhood? I doubt you'd be lucky enough to be basically left alone.
My wife (white) used to work as a paramedic in Atlanta, and she told me that one of the black paramedics that she work with was complaining that he and his wife saved up their money and bought a house in a nice (mostly white) neighborhood outside Atlanta, and later became very pissed that, as he told her, the black drug dealers from downtown Atlanta were using their drug money to buy houses in his neighborhood, and now their property value was going downhill fast.
No, people, anyone (including blacks!) can live anywhere in this country they choose (and can afford) to. I have seen undeniable proof of that, over many cities, and many states. Of course better (more expensive) properties limit who can buy into them, but then, I'm white, and I can't afford a nice property either. Am I being discriminated against? Give me a break. Again, simply and factually wrong. The Municipality of Anchorage explicitly passed a resolution 5 years ago affirming the right of landlords and sellers to discriminate based on sexual preference. Or does "anyone" not include gays? They aren't alone in that, but I lived there at the time and spoke at the meeting about it.
