Woman Behind Pakistan's First Hackathon, Sabeen Mahmud, Shot Dead
An anonymous reader sends word that Sabeen Mahmud, a prominent Pakistani social and human rights activist, has been shot dead. The progressive activist and organizer who ran Pakistan's first-ever hackathon and led a human rights and a peace-focused nonprofit known as The Second Floor (T2F) was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Karachi. Sabeen Mahmud was leaving the T2F offices with her mother some time after 9pm on Friday evening, reports the Pakistani newspaper Dawn. She was on her way home when she was shot, the paper reports. Her mother also sustained bullet wounds and is currently being treated at a hospital; she is said to be in critical condition.
I was going to offer my condolences. I was going to say how this was a great loss. I was going to say that the barbarians responsible should be hunted down like the dogs they are. But then I saw the cat pictures.

Christian or not, murdering a 7 lb unborn baby by breaking its skull open and sucking the brains out with a vacuum is unconscionable, wing nut, extremest, or whatever you want to call it. Some of these people are calling for post birth "abortion" (infanticide, murder) up to age 5. Google it. Do you think an infant can feel its skull being cracked open? Than a 7 lb foetus can too. Abortion in the case of rape? So the 50 million black babies that have been murdered in American abortion clinics are all from rape??? I highly doubt it. Even if it was rape, it's a human being. If you can't care of it, there are infertile families that desperately want the baby no matter what color it is, and will even pay tens of thousands of dollars for it. The only reason I could justify abortion is if you find out the baby has a terrible disease, but even then do it as soon as possible.
Neither Christians nor Jews do that. It might behoove you to learn about the religions before you post such inaccuracies. Of course, this is slashdot, so research and actual knowledge are generally verboten. Carry on!
