NASA: Global Warming Is Now Changing How Earth Wobbles (go.com)

An anonymous reader writes: A new study from NASA finds global warming is shifting the way the Earth wobbles on its polar axis. Melting ice sheets are changing the distribution of weight on Earth, which has caused both the North Pole and the wobble, called polar motion, to change course. Since 1899, scientists and navigators have been accurately measuring the true pole and polar motion and for almost the entire 20th century they migrated a bit toward Canada. That migration has changed with this century -- now they're moving toward England, said study lead author Surendra Adhikari at NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab. "The recent shift from the 20th-century direction is very dramatic," Adhikari said. NASA scientist and the study's co-author Eirk Ivins said, Greenland has lost on average more than 600 trillion pounds of ice a year since 2003 and that affects the way the Earth wobbles in a manner similar to a figure skater lifting one leg while spinning.

You are completely correct sir, you wise greenie you, which is why you should DEMAND your congressman buy my magical climate fixing beans, at only 10K per person its a bargain!

Of course that is what a lot of us that are being called "denialist", which just FYI is an regressive term designed to shut down discussion by comparing anybody that doesn't buy magic beans to Holocaust deniers, has been pointing out that the current "solutions" are nothing but reverse robin hood schemes that will do about as much to affect the climate as pet rocks affected animal shelters. If you want to have ANY chance of changing the current trends? Then you are gonna have to accept some VERY hard facts...like the fact that your current lifestyle MUST end (as the people in China and India aren't gonna live in squalor so your first world ass can have your iCrap) and to reach the levels of carbon output that the scientists are claiming we need to reach? People need to die...a LOT of people need to die, which means you must either give the state the right to control reproductive rights wrt third world countries (since most of the west is at negative growth) or you are gonna have to go in and do some serious slaughter of brown and black people as they are the ones reproducing the most.

Until you accept them hard facts? All you are being sold is snake oil and bullshit. A few in the 1% will profit from selling you that snake oil, promptly move their factories to those third world countries that will let them blast as much shit into the air and water as they please, and your precious "green laws"? Will be about as effective as passing a resolution telling the sun its not allowed to shine on even numbered days. Hell the laws you have already passed have FAILED because every drop of carbon you killed your economy to keep from outputting? Yeah thanks to the "free trade" globalists they just moved that carbon production overseas, you paid billions for a game of three card monty and all you got was fleeced.

Until you accept its a worldwide problem and some serious suffering by billions is required (including yourself) if you wish to change this?
