Wheeled Mice in X?

Ryan Hughes asks: "Is there a way to use mouse wheels on a mouse in X? I have a Logitech Mouse Man+ with 4 buttons and it would be cool to use my buttons / wheel in X. Any Suggestions." I thought I had read about some success in this area for certain mouse types, however, I can't remember the URL. Does anyone else have more information?
