    I have the option to switch to Lolipop for my phone, but unless its numerous bugs and annoyances are solved AND Xposed runs reliably on it I won't switch.

    And since almost all Android apps run on versions >= 4.0 there is not really a problem there either. With iOS running not the last version gives serious problems on this area.

    Sometimes they can be nice. I run a TI-89 emulator on my Android phone. Much more practical than buying a bulky calculator.

    Assuming people even WANT to "up"grade. From whiceat I've seen from windows 10 I will stick with 7 for now. As a non-company I don't care about price anyway, I'll just pirate a version I like. When people not even want to pirate their software MS has a problem.

    The far more software that is being developed are desktop applications. Noone cares about windows phone apps, and being able to run them on the desktop doesn't change that.

    Ouch... You don't live in The Netherlands, do you? We have, like most western countries, our share of privacy attacks from the government. Mostly to satisfy the tax service, like storing all license plates of cars who drive on the highways or park in a private parking garage (to catch drivers of a leasecar who claim they use it only for business and don't pay the extra income tax). And there is discussion about forcing people to give up their encryption keys if the police wants them, ignoring laws that you have the right to remain silent (except when...).

    I don't want a phone that "just works". I want a phone I can play with and tweak to my preferences. Windows phony and iOS are too locked down and the former has no sepcialist apps anyway. I prefer Android, rooted of course with my privecy protected by XPosed and XPrivacy. If I need a phone that "just works" I buy a $11 Samsung burner phone. Much cheaper.

    No, why? What's so bad about FM that it needs replacing? And even if you replace it, why would you do it with a dead standard that has failed to become popular when it might have mattered, and is now outdated already? If you want digital, use 3G/4G; if you just want radio, analoge FM is the best there is.

    I need that lighter socket to charge my phone, especially when the navigator is on. Do these units come with extra USB sockets? Otherwise I need a one to many socket multiplier first but those are bulky.

    This is, but since all those followers don't want to use this technique but instead prefer Javascripts and cookies on the sites you visit they make it quite easy for you: use plugins like Ghostery to block them.

    I like dogs and cats even more, I want that setting to be user-configurable. Bad luck for the child that has broken loose of its necklace.

    Not to mention in the US: if the car has no choice hiting one of 2 persons, one black and one white, which choice will it make? I want that to be a user setting too.

    I think MS is affraid that windows 10 will be just as much a disaster in sales as windows 8 and they are pushing to prevent it. I think I pass, my illegal copy of windows 7 is doing just fine.
