would this type of public journalism lend itself to much better monitoring of our government? if the books were all wide open for easier electronic review, maybe we could spot waste and fraud easier?
i've made a copy of death cab for cutie's song, soul meets body in my brain and i'm humming it now. where do i send the check?
i'm not sure where i got the idea that i have the right to play this copy in my brain or hum it.

ha! i used to see these downtown as well. mostly a guy, but sometimes a girl. we'd sit on the patio of chicago connection on 4th and bannock and watch them speed by.
i considered buying one for a while. i live on the greenbelt and my job was just off the greenbelt. it is about a 6 mile commute and my geeky coworkers would have loved it. alas, i couldn't legally ride it on the greenbelt and my disposable income dried up with the house, car, wife, wonderful son, and my collection of pewter star wars figurines. Damn those things are hard to take hiking.
i was just looking at directv's HD boxes and service. i finally ditched the idea of cable's HD because the DVR is one receiver only and the SD channels look like sh*t. (and, no Discovery HD).
now i'm researching directv's HD DVR boxes. if you have any tips - please let me know. i have the directv tivo and love it.

i'd like to revise my comment. this dvr, and windows vista, are both more like the space shuttle. expensive and complicated.
oh, and thanks for the man for answering these tough qustions.
