The beauty of Nintendo's gameplan is this: Even if they DO stay a 1 game household, Nintendo has made money off of them. Nintendo makes a profit on every single unit they sell.
Nintendo doesn't NEED people to buy extra games. Sure it gets them more money, but a family buying a system only for wii sports and not buying anything else, plus buying 4 wiimotes. thats 5 items big N has sold them. 5 pieces of profit.
Unlike the other system available (the PS3 doesn't really count as *avialable*) nintendo has made a profit off you if you never purchase another item for their system again.
and what is wrong with curling good sir?
its just as good as bowling... shoot curling on the wii could be a good game as part of another sports package...
Super Smash Brothers.
Good heavens that game led to some fun times in undergrad. Aside from that I'd throw up Super Mario 3, Goldeneye, and the gamecube.
yes I know the GameCube is not a "game" per say, but it beats out the other two systems of its gen becase it had the best party games and playing with 4 of your buddies in your living room beats out playing with 16 strangers over the internet ANY day of the week.
Forgive the guestimation but:
6 games X $50/game = $300
$250 system + $300 games + $60 controllers = $610. Ergo the 1GB memory card costs roughly $80...
Hows that compare to standard SD memory (which IIRC is compatible with the wii)?
Couldn't that easily be explained by the fact that the typical "republican" demographic is more apt to vote than the typical "democrat" demographic?//no stats here just going off vague memories and feelings. I'm sure someone can find something to support me. Voter statistics are a load of crap anyways.
I don't know... buy cards from people who buy the card game?
here's the deal: People who play the card game don't need 100 points. tey will get rid of them for much cheaper than you would pay for a pack. PLUS if nobody plays the game it will fail. A failed CCG means you can buy a box of boosters at the low low price of 10-20 bucks. tops.
Beyond a Reasonable doubt is only for criminal cases... Defamation is a civil matter, only a preponderance of the evidence (>50% chance) is necessary.
Rule of thumb: Any time it says party A sues party B its Civil, any time government sues/brings charges against party B its criminal. THis rule is not hard and fast but accurate enough for a lay person.
IANAL but I am in law school.

Wasn't me. I usually intepret ";)" as a joke, but hey I don't have mod points anyway or I would have just modded down grandparent.
How exactly is that "insightful"?
