I have been waiting for this for a long time. I found an article in a mag about google doing this years ago. Can't wait

  3. About time on Windows XP SP1 Support Ends Tuesday · · Score: 0

I thought they would never stop support. This should have been taken out of support a long time ago so that microsoft would have been able to work on other things besides the patches for SP1

A couple things wrong with OS 10 not as many at XP. Vista will most likely have more issues. I say this looking at Microsofts track record

  5. Classic Microsoft on Big Challenges for Vista Bug Hunters · · Score: 0

This is something that Microsoft likes to do a lot. Wait to fix things after it is out. Microsoft loves to do everything at the last second. As someone elce was saying look at what happened to Windows ME! It took them this long to release Vista yet this thing sounds like it has not been tested at all. I am thinking that there will be major updates after it comes out. They should just wait for two more months and let the beta testers keep going at it and see if they can't get ahead of the game? Also I think that if they release updates more often then they do now I think that they could get a little better at patching things. Apple will have an update out winthin a week of the problem being found. Anyone who uses NOD32 knows how often that updates By itself might I add. That is how often Micosoft should patch. It should be seemless and no restart required. One of the main reasions I do not use only Windows is becuase of the restarts that are required all the time. Linux never has to reboot unless it is a kernal update and Mac does not take as long as windows to start so I do not mind much. In conclusion the success of this version of windows will hang in the ballance of security and compatibility.

  8. Battery on Will the iPod Ever Die? · · Score: 1, Interesting

OMFG I get a new ipod first thing I do is buy and extended battery from a 3rd party company works for years. That is what I did with my second generaton iPod. I will never buy a new I pod I will just replace the hard drive. This christmas I am going to get a bigger drive for it and I am going to get a replacement audio jack board for it. The cost of all thoes parts still does not add up to the price of a new one. I think that the iPod will die but Apple will still have the mp3 market with a new and better design that will be names something elce

  9. I figured on Zune's Wireless Almost Totally Worthless · · Score: 1

I think that they were trying to stuff enough stuff as they could into this thing just to try to say it has more capibilitys than the ipod. sfuff like this does not prove useful unless you make the software for it, ultilize everything like Apple does. Apple will have something that is going to blow this away just becuase they will be able to take advantage of everything

OK I look at this.. and I see something that could have been good.. Keep germs away.. Nice.. Works well. Why not have a U/V light inside that would turn on for like a minute and kill all the germs and then shut off. It could even do it while your hand is on it.. there would be no harm to your eyes as long as it is made properly and you do not look directly at it

  12. Apple on Sexy Intel Computer Design Worth Big Bucks · · Score: 1

Yeah I think that Intel is finaly getting it. They need to try to be cool, just like there partners Apple are. I think that the should not waste time and money on the cases and leave it to Apple and third party companies. Microsoft tries to be cool and all they come out with is more seg-faults and failures. Who ever can be smooth, calm and popular with people will win
