This is impossible. The sheer number of useful laws out there would cause massive backlog as we try to go through them. You'd lock up the legislature just trying to validate old laws; nothing would ever happen again. Zoning laws that keep sewage treatment systems out of your backyard, all the varieties of environmental protection laws, corporate control laws, the list is immense. Unless you're a true anarchist, even a hard core libertarian would after long reflection and study of law would have trouble swallowing this.
Voting Libertarian in this situation is akin to voting Republican since all the Republicans are doing is attempting to limit Federal spending on embryonic stem cell research, which Libertarians would say should be limited to the private sector anyway.
But did you design your own Eamon adventures on your Apple? Now THAT's a computer RPG. Bested only by Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord. Speaking of addiction my dad, who was an architect at the time working long hours for the local city, would come home and graph every last square of the Wizardry I dungeon. He monopolized the computer. Once he killed Werdna he quit though.
I completely agree. I guess I wasn't claiming a change of species, just that evolutionary change can happen in a relatively short period of time given the correct circumstances.
I also agree about humans not necessarily choosing other pretty people.
Just to own up, I poked around on google and wikipedia after posting this to find out more about the moths, and it looks like this specific moth example is likely bunk. Here's a link.

Maybe more than two or three, but not as many as you might think. When doing studies on moths in England they were able to notice that before the industrial revolution the moths were white to blend with the birch tree bark. During the industrial revolution when the coal smoke pollution darkened the bark color, the moths changed to a darker grey color. After they stopped burning as much coal, the moths changed color back to white.
"What's even more exasperating about this situation is that Kerry wouldn't have had the power to change the abortion laws and Bush hasn't done a damn thing about them either. This makes the "my body my right" crowd just as idiotic. Abortion is always a steaming political debate right around an election and then subsides to nothing during the term because the trimester laws aren't budging.
The logical step is to not even base your vote on the abortion stance. Of course, none of the voters are logical."
This is disingenuous. Bush has done plenty to change the abortion laws. Did you forget about John Roberts and Samuel Alito? That's the best he could have hoped to do, and he has done it. Whether or not those two justices will cause the overturn of Roe V. Wade is not clear, but Bush has done everything in his power a president can do to get a Supreme Court decision overturned.
If Kerry had won, there would be two more liberal candidates on the Supreme Court right now. Whether nor not that is a good thing depends on your politics. However, voting the issues still makes sense. If you believe your vote counts, that is.
