How anyone can decide that a "pico" version of a new motherboard spec should be larger than the MiniITX standard of 17cm I don't know. Talk about a step backwards.

    Yes.

However, am I the only person who thinks that a 1 button Bluetooth mouse is like a sports car with no gas pedal?

If I hadn't buggered up my Fujitsu laptop's BT stack trying to get the mouse from MS's (crappy) Bluetooth Desktop working with the internal adapter I might be interested in an Apple BT mouse, but I currently use a Logitech four button wheel mouse.

I have to admit nothing of the sort. I believe that exposure to music that you might not have previously heard may well result in increased sales, not decreased ones. For example, a friend has a more complete collection of Mike Oldfield CDs than I do, listening to some of them, particularly "Far above the clouds", has made me want to buy them. Of course, since many of his albums were released by RIAA members, I'll be looking for them in secondhand stores.

Personally, I believe the reason that sales haven't met expectations (ignoring unrealistic expectations) is that it sucks.

  20. local experiences on Universities Taken Offline to Fight Worms, Viruses · · Score: 1

While my organisation didn't get "hit" as such (one laptop away from the desk was infected, but it was cleaned before being reconnected to the network), I have friends at a major state university. Their firewall gave them enough time to patch the main servers, but eventually it got through onto the student network ("Student Village"). They simply pulled the plug and let it burn while they patched staff machines. Then someone went out to the village to "fix" all the infected PCs. Once the worm traffic ceased, the connection was restored.
