I dropped out of high school because it came with a horrible sense of futility and desperation. Sitting in class for 7+ hours per day to learn things that I honestly DO NOT CARE about.
By the time I was part of the way through my 2nd year, I had enough. I was making more than any of my teachers with my freelance writing career, and didn't see the point of sitting through that hellhole for another 2 YEARS of my life.
High School is a waste of time, and I have no regrets about quitting it. Teens would do better to pursue their own passions and find out what they personally enjoy doing or what they are skilled at.
The Rayman plunger shooting games are perfectly done. They are more accurate than anything else I have played so far - Red Steel, Call of Duty 3.
If you play Rayman and Trauma Center, you won't have any gripes about the accuracy of the controller. Those two games are perfectly fine.
Watching that show is really frustrating. Half of the people make no effort whatsoever to think through their answers before they go with them. If people would just take an extra 60 seconds to think about it, they could make so much more money.
If I was that guy, I probably would have gone with William and taken the million. Does he lose ALL the money if he gets it wrong, or does he just go back to the last tier?
I never thought anything like this existed.
For the past year, I've been planning to move to India when I turn 20. I planned to stay at cheap 5-dollar hotels. But now that I know this exists, I'll just find cool people to stay with.
Even if it means taking a chubby, I'll suck it up.
There were definitely nerds before him. He might be the first one to which the term "nerd" can be applied to negatively.
For the other ones, if you call them nerds they can say "Yeah, well I invented a spacecraft, bitch!".
This guy can just say he managed the development of some software. So he's the first bad nerd.
As long as the processor fits inside of the PC case, I don't see why the bulkier size matters. If the performance is superior, it just doesn't make a difference.
I agree that the numerical scoring is an utter joke. But by reading the text reviews associated with the score, you can look for qualities that the game does well or poorly in. These things are more important to me than the score. The review can tell you the things that the game does well or the areas it flourishes in, and the score just gives you a basic idea of its overall goodness (in relation to the other reviewed games)
If they're the two best years of my life, why would I want to quit that and get a real job?
I know it sounds naive, but I just can't see myself ever having a traditional career.
But I see your point and it is duly noted. I realize that finishing college will open a lot of doors... I'm just not at all sure that I'll ever need to go through those doors. I have to figure myself out more and get a better game plan before I can make a real decision.
I'm just sticking out a few more years in the USA to finish college (and become legal).
I've put essentially all my life towards answering the question in this post, and I'd say either India or Scandinavia (if I had to choose one, it would be one of those).
I don't want to settle down on one place though. I do RentACoder work and make enough to survive in a foreign country, so I plan to do that (but most likely move on and start getting clients independent of RAC).
So my work will allow me to be completely mobile and see the world. When I turn 18, I'll be 2 years through college, and might just say "screw it" and not finish my education. I plan to at least see India for that summer, but I might just stay and never come back to the USA.

Wow, I feel like a tard now. At least I'm a slightly more informed tard. Thanks guys!
