Matrox was also the first with a 3D card way back in 1987 or so. The SM-1280 (SM-640), was an IBM-PGC compatible graphics card with an extended instruction set to drive its 3D hardware.
I'm pretty sure that no game ever used it, but Weyerhaeuser used a bunch in Xenix boxes for Home store systems to help people design their new deck. One of these was even in the Boston Computer Museum at one point.
They begin telling me about who they represent, what they are selling..... yada, yada, yada
I rudely stop them and say "To continue this call, you will be charged $3.99 per minute. Please provide me with your Visa, Master Card or Discover card number and expiration date... sorry, no American Express."
They either continue with their routine and I rudely interrupt them again or they ask me to repeat what I just said
You do realize that the human at the other end of the phone has your name, phone number and likely other personally identifying information, don't you?
You never know if that person is ethical or not, and if not they may choose to "stick it" to the massively rude bozo they just talked to.
These days, I just say "please put me on your 'do not call list'" and say thanks...
There are others out there who already play in this niche. A particularly well known one is the offshoot of the International Advertising Festival who put together a reel of their Gold, Silver and Bronze Lion winners as well as their honourable mentions. The "Cannes Lions" Reel oftens plays in some of the more out-of-the way movie houses, or at least it used to in Quebec.
Their web site is: http://www.canneslions.com/ but they too require a pricey subscription...
Um, their Cray division did alot of the work for the O2000! In fact at release the >64CPU configs were only avail from cray. Oh, and the frame to frame comm channel? It's named the "CrayLink".
Uh, no. The O2000 was ready to go when the Cray thing (merger/mistake) happened. It pissed a LARGE number of hard working SN0/LEGO engineers off that the Origin interconnects were called "CrayLink" when Cray had zero involvement (at least at that point). I left soon after, so I dunno what Cray ever did ultimately for SN0 or SN1

Isn't it part this sort of crime's attraction that it "proves" that you are smarter than everyone else?
Assuming so, if a someone believes that they're already smarter than their prey/the feds,
why would they worry about the consequences?
Absolutely, when road conditions are variable ABS can be wonderful.
However in the dry, people who know how to threshold brake can easily stop shorter than ABS.
