I'm one of those folks that had to have a spinal fusion surgery due to an injury at work. One of the side effects of it I have found is my balance now is HORRIBLE. I can be standing at the kitchen sink, doing dishes, and nearly fall on my side because my body suddenly decides which way is up. As cool, or helpful, or intriguing as any of these machines might be, I know for one, the day I sat on one, I'd put my head through a damned wall because it interpreted me trying to regain my balance and I'd wind up getting bucked off, even with such a low speed on that thing (Murphy hates me).
Not to mention, that thing would anger my back worse than sitting on the floor does already.
It differs depending on which state you live in. Some states allow for teenagers at 14 or 15 to get their learner's permit (which by law, you are required to have someone of a certain age (21 or 25, depending) in the vehicle with you while you drive). Others are at 16, but also require the permit. After a probationary period, or they turn 18, they can get their license.
I'm not certain which states are which, I know California requires you to be 16.
I know when I was that age, I was afraid to drive, and I didn't bother getting my license (never got a permit) until I had turned 18. But then, according to this topic, I was out of the norm.
With all the complaints surrounding Call of Duty 3, and then Call of Duty 4 being critically acclaimed, you would think Activision would realize NOT to go with Treyarch.
I guess they're cheaper than Infinity Ward?

Am I the only one that thought of the sperm whale being called into existence, several miles above the surface of an alien planet?
Holy crap, I thought I was the only one that read that. SO glad I'm not.
