You might also want to look @ SUSE OpenExchange. We are currently evaluating it for deployment for about 50 users and are pleasantly surprised by its features.
But I Currently have the opposite problem and have yet to find a solution.
I am looking to replace an exchange5.5 with something a little more controllable. Cost is an issue and I have around 50 clients. webmail a must. Currently, we are evaluating and will probably go with SUSE Openexchange.
But, here's the problem:
We also want to replace the outlook clients and I would love to switch to evolution. But, I cannot switch the clients off win2000 because of some propriatary programs that need to run.
The goal here is to be MS free within the next year. And, with the exception of some programs we are currently porting, If I can get the users off outlook I can switch them from 2000 to Linux or BSD and very few would notice the difference.
It took us 3 months to ween the users from MSOffice to Oo with very little complaints/training.
I thought I would give you guys a few links for the paraniod. I've been researching aspartame and other man-made additives/GMO foods for a possible link to obesity and most recently, the rise in miscarriages.
this is because all of the stock available for short sale has been shorted on the market. so either the stock drops and the shorts win or we will see the biggest short squeeze of the decade.
There won't be anymore shares to short until somebody buys more shares on margin. Thus allowing the BD (Broker/Dealer) to borrow the shares for short sale.
I gave this some thought a while back and think I may have an idea what we can do.
It is very simple-- If the plantiff wins, the defendant must comply (obviously nothing new here) BUT, if the plantiff loses, the defendant is AUTOMATICALLY awarded damages equal to that spent by the platiff to bring the case in the first place.
i.e. - If XYZ company sues me and loses, I am automatically awarded the same amount they paid their own attorneys to bring the case.
If I sue XYZ company and lose, I not only pay my attorney his fees, but I also pay XYZ the same amount I paid my attorney.
If these silver balls were rendered frictionless (polished), and then observed to spin, how would you know they were spinning?
i.e. a perfectly polished sphere would look EXACTLY the same spinning or still.
that is all.
With the addition of some software i am sure someone can/will write, I will be able to drive buy a store and see if they have what I want and i will not have to waste time running up and down the aisles.
cool...
I, too, have thought about this and I think I came up with something that may work:
The Attorneys fees should be set by lowest paid attorneys in the case which the loser automatically pays. Example;
Attorney for small guy charges $1200 and the attorney for the big guy charges $15,000. Should the little guy win, in addition to his judgement, his attorneys fees should automaticly be paid buy the losing party. Should the big guy win, the little guy should only have to pay his $1200 and an additional $1200 towards the big guys attorneys.
I think this would level the playing field between sides.
It amazes me that people are willing to spend almost twice the price for a CD burner to save a total of 1 minute and 5 seconds burn time per disk. what a waste of money for your average computer luser. And to think, the made them BURN-PROOF to allow multitasking. sheesh
Slashdot-Principle:
As one attempts to measure the effect of a ping or multiple pings on a network, they inturn effect the measurement being taken.
Vicious Cycle of Pings.
The Japanese are striving to control products and innovation whilst the Americans (Corporations) are trying to emulate Microsoft by suppressing innovation while they fight for control of standards/transport.

Any thoughts?

I was wondering that myself
I wonder if Ginsu knows of this.
Am I the only one that has that dream?
you mean like my
Entropy Accelerators?
Always learning again.
What were we talking about?
www.zeropaid.com has all of them!

I think this would help to clean up the industry.
Cheers

Thats OK. He probably a under 18 and therefore a minor.

with this: Start-> Run-> Type -> RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove and use a different client like trillian.
And soon after that, the entertainment industry will learn the true value of their customers. If any remain.
I predict that the end user/consumer will find new "free" things to do. Soon, keeping up with the jones' will be even more comedic.
And I can't wait for this to happen.
Narrowminds are the bain of ALL technological/scientific advances.
sorry. couldn't be more off topic maybe? --IGNORE ALL I SAY--

Spoonnn. enough about CGI
is this why Gates filed to sell some of his shares a few days ago??
i too had this same problem. however. i sat back in my chair, tried to forget everything windows, and then thought through intuitively.
and setup lilo using linuxconfig.
i was shocked at the simplicity of it.
it's not better.
it's different.
it's easier.
however,
in arbitration it can be used to show cause.
IANAL but, i have seen it done.
answer this:
why is it that the program/application cannot open the port when it is ran and then close the port when i kill the program???
