Not true. Your view is a vary narrow one. Processes and implementation are still being discovered every day by these "garage tinkerers".
There is a belief that all these wonderful new ideas come out of corporations and businesses but, if you learned anything from Bill Gates, most of these wonderful things come from your neighbor working in his garage on his days off because he has a thought or idea he wants to test.
A friend of mine actually invented, in his own garage lab, a plastic that has the properties of rubber and was/is scalable and customizable. Though the chemical formula is common and known, the order and assembly was not. Computers can tell us the properties of a certain molecule/compound but it CANNOT tell you how to make it. Little things like temperature, pressure, whether assembly is in a pure oxygen or a pure nitrogen environment, all lead to different outcomes.
Take an inorganic chemistry course at your local college and you will be FLOORED by the vastness of elemental compounds that have NEVER been researched.
We have an ENTIRE course of study for one element, Carbon. Thats one element out of many.
An accident in a kitchen led to the entire plastic industry. (another element/process)
I will predict LOTS AND LOTS of new and wonderful materials to rise out of the digital age. We are almost to the point of putting into a program the properties we want in a material and have the program give us the formula. But computers still don't have the ability to tell us how to assemble them...
I am very excited for the future of materials. We are seeing only the tip of the iceberg in this industry. I only hope governmental shortsightedness doesn't stifle innovation.
A conversation in High School: GF: "Honey, what do I mean to you?" ME: "Babe, to me you are like a lottery ticket, you could be worth millions but you're usually only worth a buck...."
I really don't believe the Founding Fathers envisioned the Constitution and the Bill of Rights would be applied to a CORPORATION THAT NEVER DIES. I would love to read more about the pros and cons of Incorporation if anyone give me a link. I'm starting to think every person/family that wants any rights at all will need to incorporate.....
Maybe this would have to do with high fructose corn syrup. At the park, Ive seen them go after pepsi just like sugar water and with all the affects HFCS has on us, I can only imagine what it would do to a little bee.

Perhaps it's time for the manufacturer to manufacture their own OS that runs their software. This is right up the alley of Linux and I can see an opportunity to do just this........
1. Does the flash of the camera impair the creature? 2. It seems that life can adapt to ANY non-vaccuum (maybe even there!) 3. Maybe they evolved recently (within the last few decades). I am starting to think that Darwin's changes happen on an even faster scale than years. I am starting to think maybe changes can happen in a CURRENT generation.
It is because of this reason we have recently converted a 50 employee Broker-Dealer to Terminal Services. We are now able to lock down nearly ALL areas with the added benefit of only having to backup one or two servers. Another benefit is we no longer have to service the individual machines. As long as they can get online, they can get to thier info. They can only print to onsight printers and they cannot download or install anything themselves. This freed up alot of resources. More than we even expected.....
What I don't understand is: Kerry was and still is in position to submit Bills to Congress to enact the concepts he champions on the campain trail and yet he chooses not to do so.
He harps on Bush for letting the Assault Weapons ban expire as if Bush can implement new law.
Yet, Kerry has/had the power to introduce a Bill to Congress to extend the ban.
If it is such a big deal to Kerry, why doesn't he do this?
I think Kerry doesn't do this because that would mean having an Ideal he cannot change to get what he wants - The Presidency.
"One week ago, the sun was utterly blank: no sunspots. Now there are several. The largest, sunspot 682, is twice as wide as Earth -- and growing. But it does not yet pose a theat for strong solar flares. Solar activity should remain low in the days ahead."
Low but not quite gone. Also, this just means that sunspots are fewer and farther between; not gone completely.

Actually, I don't think it would hurt the consumer. It would actually hurt the dealership/sale more. It would really give time for "buyers remorse".

the above math is bad.
a billion time absolute zero is still absolute zero. and I think by Library of Congress the poster meant Congress as in US House and Senate.......
If you are currently using Exchange the answer is no.
Actually, one quad opteron server can be a terminal server to about 600 clients...:) Doing it now! Saves about 40hours a week in "spyware" issues..
