Later when I was 11 or so, I went to gymnastics in the evenings by bike and wondered what would have happened if that guy (20-ish) that came running out of the bushes after dark would have been able to run faster. At the time I thought he was trying to steal my bike and I accelerated. I was riding more in the middle of the street at night after that incident.
Some people got terribly rich building the most expensive piece of kit ever and their design sort of guaranteed a short life. You want another one? Sure.... $$$$
I had an official AMD 486dx280 except my computer would only run stable at 66Mhz or on 80Mhz with the secondary (on motherboard) cache disabled.
I had better luck with the pentium II 266 I bought afterwards. It would run at 300Mhz (4x75) with no problem.
apr-get, unlike the mint update program, doesn't give you the option for example to only install security updates or updates that are guaranteed not to break your system. But yeah, a commandline version of it would be highly appreciated.

I used the 48 bit intermediary version for a while. It had less bite that the 64.

The KDE version is nice also :)
But that's what virtual machines are for.... unless you do something silly like gaming.
