    The Symbian platform is a complete operating system for mobile devices (not a cut down version of windows) - Palm OS isn't a real OS ... There's no competition really. While Palm is big in the US, it's all over for them in Europe already. Symbian devices are going to be so much more advanced, while still being very simple to use (hey, download the Quartz emulator in the SDK and check it out for yourselves - it's at Symbian's homepage) ... Palm had a great idea, but kept pushing their 16 bit "operating system" for too long.

    _Working_ Bluetooth on Palm OS? We'll see about that ...

    Ericsson's smartphone - works in the US

    (There are pictures etc if you roam the site. The European version is being advertised heavily in Europe - it's really cool, and also runs the Epoc operating system from Symbian

    At my previous company, we used ClearCase until all the developers (myself included) stopped working until we had another solution.

    Reason? Well .. it kind of bluescreened NT whenever there was "too much" disk access ... like ... uh ... when we compiled our software ...

    Getting a bluescreen every second time you compiled your work, losing all that work and needing to rebuild the system (took a few hours) meant we never got any real work done ..

    (That said, I'm sure the bug is fixed now)

    Then they lost it, and had to have it given to them by the UN ... but they didn't think that was enough, so they had to slaughter some more arabs (13 year old kid yesterday among others) to get more ...

    Isreal today is 200% of the size that was "given" by that treaty. Isreal has conquered its way to that other land .. you know, Palestine ...

    No, those pictures haven't been there for years. If you want me to, I can find out the exact date ;) Quartz was first demoed at Cebit 2000 (I was there) etc ...

    The devices are vapour in so forth that only Ericsson has showed Quartz running on actual hardware (look at their web, the Communicator platform)

    Go with an operating system built for this instead - Epoc. True 32-bit multitasking from the ground up.

    I'd wait for the Quartz devices to come out personally. Epoc runs circles around both PalmOS and Pocket PC, and it has _so_ many devices in the works ... true WIDs! (Wireless Information Devices)

    See Symbian's website for more info, or just browse around on Ericsson's for some pictures of the R380 smartphone running Epoc ... or look at the devices Motorola, Sanyo, Psion etc will release.

    The future looks bright indeed!

    Legal claim to the land? Besides the fact that they _lived there_ a thousand years ago - when the Jews were based in Baghdad, the Christians conquered Jerusalem by force, and the Moslems tried to throw the Christians back out?

    It's well documented the the Palestine people lived in Palestine .. why would UN have to _give that land_ away to the Jews otherwise?

    Now ... what legal claims (besides the promise of the promised land in the Bible) do the Jews have to Palestine? You know, there are more books than the Bible ... how about I write one that says God promised the northern american continent to the Swedes?

    BTW, the other reply you got was correct - you don't know the truth. You apparently don't know about Palestinian kids (age &lt 10 years) abducted by settlers - beaten to death, burnmarks all over their bodies - FLESH CUT OUT FROM THE BODIES - left at their parents doorsteps.

    Leave Palestine to the Palestinians - they lived there before you did.

    Hmm .. is Scramdisk Linux opensource then? I use e4m since the source is available. I never use any crypto products where the source hasn't been submitted to open peer review ..
