Why does my phone need to identify objects and people on the photographs that I've stored on it? The fact that it's 'invisible' and causes people to be confused about battery drain means people don't even know their phone is doing it.

Yeah, I expect there's a real good reason why the phone needs to run face recognition on every photograph I have stored on my phone. Righto.

Shakespeare's plays 'worked on many levels.'

I am not sure that can be said about South Park, though it is a point well worth considering.

It can't be said about 'Family Guy' which is crass trash for the most part. It plays well to a certain mindset but is really channeled only in that direction.

"Chickenhawks" are ostrasized in the gay community, because they play into the stereotypes of gay people as "recruiting your children into their lifestyle."

However, adolescents and young adults who ARE actually gay, come to that realization about their sexuality at some point in their life and have the right to be integrated into a gay community as they mature. Like with any minor non-adult person it is statutory rape for an adult to become involved with them. But at a certain point the young person WANTS involvement with others (gay people) like themselves. It's a tricky balance, and Milo acknowledged that in an awkward way that was used by political opportunists to take him down.

We bought a 56" flatscreen over a year ago that was an unadvertised end-cap clearance at WalMart for $100. It still hasn't made it out of the carton. The old screen sort of still works, but it has a dead area at the bottom right corner. I think one of the cats sprayed urine on it and it seeped into that edge of the screen bezel and screwed it up.

I am going to put the new screen on a table such that there's no way for an animal to get on the 'ledge' in front of the screen. Just haven't gotten around to finding that type of 'stand' for it yet. Also may wall-mount it.

The more shocking part is that there seems to have been little real-world testing of the phones, or the wifi issue would have been caught. Wherever they were using it probably had nice wifi. I think Apple's reputation for consistent quality might be declining.

It's similar to the problem you can run into with video games, like Blizzard's WoW. It works superfast-great on the developer's test machine which is the latest top-end with max memory and a $900 video card, and connected to the WoW server with a gigabit ethernet cable.
