It's a shame you are discounting FPS...Rainbow Six: Vegas is an AMAZING game, and half the game is spent in third person anyways since you will always be sticking to walls....but going on without any generes that you don't like:
Splinter Cell: Double Agent, Armored Core 4, Kameo: Elemenets of Power, Need for Speed: Carbon, Table Tennis (Still one of my favourite on the system, especially multiplayer), Crackdown, Saints Row, Oblivion, GRAW, GRAW 2, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, Chromehounds, C&C3, Fight Night Round 3 (yes, a sports title, but this one requires a LOT of practice to get good at and as such I recommend it to people that don't even like sports games) Hitman: Blood Money, Just Cause...
There are a LOT of good games out for the 360. You just have to look, man.
Blame your governments for that one bud. That does suck though, I feel for everyone on the other side of the ocean.
Then again, you don't have to deal with American politics like we do. And I live 25 minutes outside of Washington, DC. At least you live on a leg, I live next to the asshole
I bet I didn't because I ran an ethernet cable 4 feet to my router...as far as HD-DVD, no I didn't purchase one because I don't see a reason to repurchase my 400+ DVD's for a slightly improved picture.
While I PERSONALLY think that $400 is a very fair price for that system given the quality and number of games available for it (especially now compared to when it was released), I do agree with you...even a $50 price drop would make a massive difference in their sales, methinks.
It would almost be like getting a game for free. A $100 price drop would be like a free game and an extra free wireless controller.
Personally, I think Microsoft should drop the price $50 dollars and include a recharchable battery with the system. The controllers eat through AA batteries like they are nothing, while the recharchable batteries last a LONG time before they need to be recharged.
Number 1. you cannot buy the 20 gigger in many places anymore since sony stopped production, and number 2. 500 is STILL overpriced for a system that quite honestly doesn't really have anything out yet that I can't find on other systems....at least nothing worth spending 500 bucks on a system for
Only the PS3 feels overpriced to me. The 400 dollar price point of a 360 premium or 250 for the Wii seem very reasonable and fair to me...I had no buyers remorse spending that much on either system.
I simply cannot justify, however, spending 600 on a PS3. I don't care if it is a Blu-Ray player, I still cannot justify it.
If the PS3 were 400, I would likely buy one. If there were more than two games I was highly anticipating (God of War 3 and Lair) I would be willing to pay 450.
Yeah, but one of the draws of the iPhone (as with any smart phone) is it's internet-browsing abilities...what's the point of browsing the net on a network that is marginally quicker than dial-up? Especially on your shiny brand new $500+ phone.
While my personal opinion is a negative one, I can see why people are excited about the iPhone. I must say, however, Apple's biggest mistake is choosing the Cingular/AT&T network. Restricting the phone to just that network is hardly a smart move...I mean, if they are gonna restrict it to one network, why restrict it to the network that has some of the most issues?
That there are people and companies out there taking advantage of things like this, or that there are people that are ignorant enough to actually fall for it.
By the way, if you (or anyone else reading this) likes/appreciates/enjoys Pure Pwnage, show your support and buy their DVD's!!! Every DVD (along with any other of their merch) that get's sold from the noobstore means that much more money they have to put into a full-length Pure Pwnage feature film!
The format is released in such a way that a single picture = a single frame instead of an entire page...in theory, you can convert any comic to FIT on a PSP screen, but the words will be so tiny you won't be able to read it.
Being able to watch movies/TV shows was a big draw for me as far as the PSP is concerned....not to mention it is just a slick looking portable system (although the DS is quite nice looking as well)
Well, there was a time when games were the only things consoles were used for and as such that was the major deciding factor in what I would buy...for me, the major deciding factor in getting a PSP was being able to A. use it as an E-book reader and B. watch any movie/tvshow/etc. on it without requireing any modification.
I'm aware that (apparently) the DS has better games, but it was less suited to my needs....in this day and age, when gaming is just ONE PART of what consoles do, you have to factor in other things as well.
Insofar as my "not a fanboy" comment, I was merely commenting on the fact that I won't NOT purchase a console because it's made by a specific company...in fact, this is the first generation in which I have not owned all the major ones out there (Don't own a PS3 because there is nothing on there that I can't play on other systems that I want to...Lair and God of War 3 will likely be the reasons why I get one, though...)
I am in no way a fanboy of any console. Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Sega...it doesn't matter. To paraphrase Pure Pwnage, Any machine that let's me play games I enjoy.
That being said. Yes, the PSP has it's issues...screen is prone to fingerprints/scratches, control stick takes a slight bit to get used to, low battery life...but you know what? It's still a bad-ass little toy. I can convert any movie/TV show/whatever, put it on the memory stick, and watch it directly on the device with no modding necessary.
I can download one of hundreds of FREE comics that are made specifically with the PSP in mind. Using one of many FREE programs, I can convert E-books into a format that makes them easily readable on the screen. I can broswe the internet with it (granted it's slow due to the b wireless connection it has, but hey it's still got wireless access)
All in all, despite it's faults, I still absolutely ADORE my PSP. If not for the games, at least for everything else I can use it for.
I have no idea why, but for some reason "Director of Linux Interoperability" brings to mind the US Drug Czar and the War on Some Drugs
fixed.

yeah, but then she might go blind...that's expensive too.
Besides, my lady is shall we say....disconnected:-)
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy masturbation as much as the next guy...
However, I enjoy cumming in a pussy just a LITTLE bit more than cumming in my own hand.
Try it sometime. You might just like it more too.
Who says sarcastic humour is a lost art:-)
Mod up....uh...the AC I suppose? 8D 8D 8D

You know what they say about assuming, Mr. AC...

Judging by the way a lot of those products are released, it appears they are being designed and marketed by bad parents as well

Yes that is the quote...which is why I said it was a paraphrase ;-)
Mod parent up for obscure Ghost in the Shell reference. Rarely see that on teh dot.
And to complete the quote:
"It's slow death."
uh...some free conversion software and you can watch any video on your PSP, regardless of it's firmware...
Already posted it, but sure:

That's my favourite. Just google "free psp comics", there are actually a whole BUNCH of them available online

That one is my personal fave....a little short, but a very good series

The War on Some Drugs has a certain backing in the thinkofthechildren crowd, who think that if there are no drugs anymore, kids won't take them
Fixed
soooo.....what you are saying is they will name it something long and unoriginal, as opposed to something tired and old? Gotcha.
