You have one fo the best cards on the market right now. 50fps or 70fps makes very little differnce to the human eye. If you run a midrange box, and up grade to vista, then you will probly run into some more noticeable slow down.
open soruce comunities work this way yes, however when was the last time that MS asked you how to make windows better. If there was a resaonable alterative to windows this might be the case.
Example: Vista, No one asked that the new os require and out right insane about of resources to run in its entierty. Who the hell said" ya know, i want to be forced to buy a video card to use my new operating system". In reality (i work in industry with eviromental controls) most people don't have or want top end systems. Most of the computer users i meet want to suff the net and use word. It is moveing more twords digital media like cameras. Windows needs to make a lite version of vista, a unbloated clean OS that you build off of. Also dont get me started abuopt price. GFYS MS the OME pricing jsut seems to scream "screwing people who dont shop at dell".
Phishing works on the consept that for the most part people are tecnologicaly retarded. All the locked doores and keypads iun the world dont stop some dumb ass from leaveing the doors open and the nubers sribled on peices of paper.
I lvoe the fact that there is not a single acoholic refrence in that entire photo. I have to agree with most of the posters, this just goes to show that latly that any institution would rather screw over one of its students rather than deffend them. 10$ bucks says she is a good teacher but goes against the grain. I fail to see the law broken here. I agree the software in question makes the game a bit boring but if the maker has not agreed to the TOS then where does blizard get the right to tell him what he can an cannot code. Also there is no precedence for somthing of this nature. Also good luck finding a jugde in the contry that will have a clue what Bliz is complaining about.
