it depends on where you reside, from a slang perspective people call it jail others call it the nick, wack-house and many other things.. Jail is a slang term in itself for example meaning remanded in some country's but generally if you've ever been in prison most people call it jail!
thats the point tho, its an experiment without destroying are own climate/environment. It's important we start to learn methods to do this for more than one reason so why not use something that is somewhat earth like, or we could just use it for testing new nuclear weapons in case we decide to wipe each other out in a spectaculars fashion.
personally I find it very offensive that a group of individuals have the authority to nanny me as an adult and what they deem appropriate for other adults to be subjected too. It's like saying we know better than you and if you are subjected to this kinda thing you will want to carry this out in real life.. These people need to go away and live
in disney land or something. Nobody should have this right of other peoples rights.
your right its like stealing from your drug dealer, still your hooked but saving money and the more money
I save the less money the drug dealer makes making it seem to an extent less attractive to be a dealer but on the other hand if I start supplying my drugs to others that aren't hooked then they too need to have a dealer when hooked.
lights spliff... deep drag..
Thing is my drug dealer is ripping me off, and it feels good to get something back!
The only good thing about this is that it helps widen the browser possibilities and with Apple behind this I guess quite a few people will have their eyes opened to the fact that IE is not the only tool you use to few websites with, other options are available and when people start to look they will see that Mozilla is perhaps the widest used and better of all the possibilities.
I never payed for my XP software so why the hell should I pay for something that I don't have to steal, it's freedom to steal and they are trying to steal from that idea!
If your a web designer id recommend you stay clear of getting things to look good in Safari, for the most part its quite good at rendering to the standard but the tech end "JavaScript" included is not up to todays standards as set by FF and IE.. Safari is based on Konqueror for KDE if you want limitations have a good try at implementing things such as iframes with the DOM & JavaScript even simple things that should work just don't, its the reason many sites do not support Konqueror even tho it works 95% of the time. Ajax impaired!
I totally agree with most of your comments, I've been a Linux user/developer for 10+ years and have built my career
around the OS, but working in this arena with other developers from other company's I've come to accept that the licensing issue is a real issue in the commercial world. Now imagine Linux had a greater market share with a heavy range of commercial software company's building products, do you not imagine that you would also have a greater games market of course you would.
When I say that Linux has been held back in general I'm referring to these facts.
I write 90% of my products directly for Linux its just that its proving hard work when the commercial market is so small, people and company's need to make money not everything can be free if it was the very foundations of freedom would simply collapse. Its great that so many people can develop for Linux and most things are free and you can have the widest choice of products but without commercial products it will be very hard to compete in the real world against people and company's that have another agenda and have big bucks to make sure it stays so as long as possible.
Now Linux has come a long way and is starting to make and entrance to the desktop world. I just hope more company's get on board and "help" bring it to its true potential that it deserves.
Company's really need to feel secure when developing for Linux, its all this licensing garb thats screwing with everything including game development. I know first hand that it stops potential commercial development for the OS
therefore stopping the development of Linux in general!
are you for real? .. oh yeah your right its better to have a better filesystem thats justice enough.
OJ, wacko-jacko, or even Tux my bet is when they find out the chair is up a tree tied with ropes they can rule out a penguin "no thumbs"

never underestimate a smart guy in jail!
nope... next
second that; perhaps they just ignore anything that begins with micro----
wtf
but with intelligent design you can!
but does it run Linux!
you don't know the truth or the lies but you believe in one of them!

that was my point, the freedom to steal!
I say bring it on and let it continue.
I never payed for my XP software so why the hell should I pay for something that I don't have to steal, it's freedom to steal and they are trying to steal from that idea!
I find it hard to believe that people still have reputations these days, its no good give it up and have one less thing to worry about!
I would recommend it but then I've been using it for 12 years and its like a twelfth finger! very useful and automatically works!
