  1. ubuntuone on Collaborative Software For Pair Programming? · · Score: 1

Use ubuntu's shared folder/cloud storage... dead simple! The students can share the same folder (integrated with nautilus) so that they can have codes/binaries shared.. (svn would be the best option but, since you asked for DEAD SIMPLE)

  5. Re:Protect our ass on NASA Exploring 8 New Space Expeditions · · Score: 1

What's the problem on having earth totally destroyed? As long as every human being is destroyed, no one will be here saying we chose wrong, no history books saying we did bad... nothing really bad about that, not at long term. At most a lost "space" spider wondering why it's not being fed anymore.. No problems with that...

Wouldn't this project be another "armageddon" machine (LHC..)? What if someone finds a bug in it 25 years from now? A bug that generates a contradiction? It would prove EVERYTHING to be TRUE (and FALSE). OHH GOD! STOP IT!

  7. The Dawn of the "Planet of The Apes"? on Chimps Outscore College Students on Memory Test · · Score: 1

Hmmmm, I've seen this story before.

Next step: a chimp called Jesus will take control of his lab and spread his ideals through the internet convincing more chimps to stand up.

In 10 years humans will be free from thinking and thus finally enjoying wild life as other slave mamals.

Hey good point, but think about this... once a emo--gaylike--kid used computers just to share emo photos with his girl(boy)friends and then he gets annoyed on how often he need to refresh mySpace's (or Orkut's) page. Suddenly he starts to think how could his computer work for him ...

With some googling he installs (or copies the code of) a post notifyer...

After six months he's solving the driver bug (for example one of this non-proprietary video drivers for linux) that annoyed you for 1 year..

Sounds like a hollywood history.. but.. sometimes (maybe never with a EMO-KID .. uahuha) it happens..

Just to add a internal opnion... In my case youtube IS blocked and is not at a DNS level It is blocked far below... using http://208.65.153.253/ wont work... Just proxys would help... Its been a long time I am shamed of this country.. its a huge joke... Talking about it.. trying to find solutions.. forget it!! Just laugh at it.. This country is proof that, in "dumb" nations, democracy sucks! The people are so badly educated that their votes are manipulated too easily! Hence.. there is no solution to this "joke"
