It's not like they're forcing you to send them ANY information. You have to enable the feature, meaning if you want to send them the URL you can. Nobody's forcing you.
Chances are, someone dumb enough to mug you won't be intelligent enough to boot it up in Linux, or connect to the internet. I would use the Windows service.
I have a dual core @ 3.2GHz w/ 2gigs of ram and a speedy SATA HDD, and iTunes STILL runs like absolute shit. And guess what? Yup, big surprise, it's the only thing that runs like that. Everything comes up instantly. It runs like shit on Windows, it's a fact. Perhaps it runs great on OS X, but on Windows it does not.
Some people prefer the typical tree navigation like WMP10 over the random ass navigation that iTunes uses (aka massive 7000 song list) and don't want to use it like that just because Apple says so.
They are, at least at most places. Walmart only sells those edited ones, but at most other stores you can buy albums in both the explicit and edited format.
Yeah, I mean come on Microsoft. You guys should have drivers for every single piece of hardware out there already, its' been a whole nine months. If I have obscure XYZ piece of hardware there should not only be a driver made by microsoft (and not the people who made hardware XYZ), but their should be an entire forum devoted to tech support for that piece of hardware. Apple's software works with all the hardware they use, why don't you? What's that? Apple makes all the hardware they're compatible with? Oh...then I'll just shut up. Well...flavor XYZ of linux doesn't have these problems like you do. Oh, they have a much larger base of people helping with these problems? And the people who get the problems had better be programmers or they won't be able to fix them? I guess I'll just shut up now.
Am I being too subtle with the sarcasm?
I wish I could get that. Burst speeds I get max 3mbps, with an advertised 6. Average speed is below 2. Comcast blows as far as speed goes, but they do have excellent customer service. They just switched to Time Warner in our area, and Time Warner BLOWS all together. Worse connection, and the customer support is horrible. Couldn't check my email because it was too long (it was only accepted because it came with the change to Time Warner) and it took 7 calls, with 2 level 3 priority support tickets and to talk to a regional supervisor to get it remedied. Just wanted to check my email:s
The problem with your thought is that TPB isn't illegal. In both US (whether the RIAA thinks so or not) and Sweden, a tracker is not illegal. TPB isn't actually hosting ANYTHING whatsoever that has child pornography.
Not really, I notice that most of the telemarketer calls I get are from blocked caller. I usually proceed to ask them a billion personal questions until they hangup, that really is the best anti-spam method.
Yes, some people do. Those people simply don't install this program. Others, like myself, want to share all my pr0n with the world! Or at least Google.
I'm not sure the legality of that, since they aren't really planning it, only telling others where to get it. Either way, I meant that MS's statement that they can use it without limitations was a generic statement.
Planning to break the law and making a generic statement about breaking the law are different. Telling someone to "disregard copyright" would never hold up in court, otherwise nearly everyone on the internet would be going to jail.
It's not "just cause". Perhaps he has his own stuff downloading, or maybe because it's his computer he doesn't feel he should have to close his player. I know that when I shared a computer I hated closing programs just to leave, I leave them open and switch users so I can come back to my session without tying it up for everyone else. As for your solution, what kind of a solution is that? Rather than just have them turn off the retarded ass switch (which has caused problems for my family multiple times, everyone has an iPod and everyone has to come get an admin to log the other user off so they can manage their own iPod), you suggest he sets up multiple computers, which while some people have most people don't, all with separate copies of (very expensive just to have multiple iTunes open at once) XP? That's absolutely asinine, don't be such an Apple fanboy and use your brain for once.

In Soviet Russia, fool pity you!
Guess I didn't think of it like that.

We all know that a good portion of all studies are based on bogus facts or on other studies based on other studies based on nothing.
Obviously neither has the person who modded the original poster insightful

See that's exactly what it makes them, criminal is one who does crime, doing crime is doing something illegal.
Unless you were just joking, in which case I don't get the humor, if it exists.
Right but since the count is on the number of servers, not the number of sites, that use the software, it would be valid.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

Someone mod this parent a +5 insightful. Buddy if I had mod points I'd give em to ya. *no, they'll kill me! bizzarro! bizzarro!*

I'm pretty sure telling someone there are no limitations on the download is promoting the violation of the GPL.
Plus, telling someone to break a law isn't illegal, courtesy the first amendment.
Last I checked Man Vs. Wild isn't on Netflix, it's a show, hence the purchasing of the cable service.
