which rpg did you used to play that is so deep and rich you can't play it now? how often did those games come out? what, are you the guy who recalls diablo and believes every game should be of equal quality?
Look at the evolution of the Elder Scrolls games. We went from a high point of Morrowind, to a greatly simplified Oblvion, which decayed even further in Skyrim. Skyrim doesn't even have stats like strength, slots for weapons and armor are significantly reduced, and dungeon design is flat with only one route though. Fallout is another example. So is the X-com series. I can go on and on if you would like.
Diablo was hardly deep and rich, it had an extremely simple stat and skill system and just barely qualifies as an RPG. Sad thing is that it still has more depth than Skyrim.
Really? Which game do you want to install that isn't in {insert online download service here}?
All the games that I bought previously that were only available on cd / dvd at the time. I have no intention of buying them again just to make them available digitally when I have perfectly good disks.
How is it "ruining" gaming if you never use it? Did you see the sales results for MW3? Yeah, motion controls TOTALLY jacked the sales this time around. Didn't they? Hello?
Because it's making a lot of money in the casual market, which other companies see and try to copy, which forces the horrible motion controls and other casual friendly junk in to the games we DO play. Just look at the effect that casual gaming has had on what used to be deep, rich, and complex RPGs on the PC.
Mach 6 isn't a definite speed. it's dependent on the air pressure and temperature it's traveling through. At sea level with a temperature of 15c, Mach 1 is 340.3 mph. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mach_number
Office 2013 isn't a version number (or won't be when it's released), that's a Title. Office has always had a proper version number unrelated to the title. For example, the RTM version of Office was 14.0.6023.1000
Ahh, I was not aware of that. I just remember being able to grab the new market apk before it was generally released to the public to get the new interface. I do remember having to install the separate google apps pack via clockwork recovery though, now that you mention it.
The models indicate there is supposed to be a lag. But so far for previous rises the heat did show up.
The models don't indicate that there is supposed to be lag, the models were/programmed/ to/assume/ that there will be lag, that's how computer models work. The people creating those models can be biased in their beliefs and in analysis of the data the models are based on
You make a good point. But I think my main issue is that Netflix was worth more to me when I first subscribed. As I depleted their content it slowly became worth less to me without me actively realizing it. The price change was enough of a shock to the system to make me reevaluate the worth of the entire system. Without the price change they probably could have kept me skating along paying a monthly fee for quite some time, since the price was low enough that I didn't really notice it until it was brought to my attention.
that one dvd a month ended up costing me an extra $7 a month on top of the price i already paid. I primarily used the download service, and the mail service was just for those few things that were not available to stream. When they split their plans and almost doubled my price torrents because the more attractive alternative.
Were they profitable subscribers? Or subscribers who were "overusing" the system from the perspective of Netflix's expected usage patterns? I'm not suggesting these customers did anything wrong, Netflix may very well have had naive models and expectations.
I've had friends with various small businesses and they all learned rather quickly to tell some potential customers: I am sorry but I don't think we will be able to help you. You can make a profit, or you can meet everyone's needs, but you probably can't do both.
They lost me, and I was seriously under utilizing their system. I had maybe 1 dvd out every 4 months. I streamed about 4-5 30 minutes episodes of tv a week.
If the universe spins... what is it spinning in? "Space"?
Does space therefore exist outside the universe (other than in some theoretical brane)?
Angular momentum can be measured relative to it's self. Objects closer to the center revolve around the axis faster than those at the outside, the different can be measures, and a direction and speed determined.
The one I like the most is location-based reminders, where the alarm is activated when you go at a specific place, like 'don't forget to buy milk' when you go to the supermarket.
In that case, don't forget about the alarm for "don't forget to go to the supermarket" when you are anyplace but the supermarket.
The DeLorean failed because it was too expensive and quickly earned a bad safety reputation for shearing in half during collisions. People didn't buy them when they were offered at 60%. Why would people go back and buy one, now?
Because they are rare, and famous from the movies.

Create .iso file. Move on.
Right, I'll just get a microscope so I can look at the dvd and create the ISO by hand...

I bet the bandwidth it uses to send this data back to the carrier is deducted from our monthly cap too...
Those words never go together. I am shocked.
Yeah... except it was the private broadcast companies that failed to properly show the alert not the goverment.
Why don't they just call it "office 2013"?

Without access to the Android app store, it's not much different than the higher end Chinese clones.
If you can side-load apps, is anything preventing the google app store apk from being installed?
It's not so much that that laws were tuned to support life, but that life formed where the laws happened to be suitable.
Having a monopoly is fine. Abusing the monopoly to unfairly compete is not. Is Apple abusing a monopoly? If so, call the FTC.
Microsoft can't be abusing a monopoly that it no longer has.

Aren't we losing Helium at a rapid rate? How much energy will be required to manufacture more Helium? (If that's even possible)
Really? I don't see an option in IE to move the tab bar around, although I didn't particularly look all that hard either.
It's an option if you right click on the tab area.
It's not so easy to do so.
But somehow Microsoft managed to do it with IE.

bah, sorry, meant 18th.
1) It's scientific fact their brians aren't as mature as you seem to think at 16.
But the day of their 16th birthday they magically become mature?
