    I dont mind UAC. Its just like sudo warning you 'think before you type'. Its a clear sign you are initiating a system level action.

    Anything below 120 HZ is junk to me. I dont care how many pixels you have if you are still at 60 Hz. Refresh and image integrity > pixels. I would rather see more processing power and solutions like G-sync intead of more raw pixels

    The problem is Apple always saddles these machines with displays that are so high res, you cant run anything 3D at the native resolution. I wish they would match up 3D hardware to actually drive the displays they put out.

  16. Yeah thats not what the Constitution says. Unless they are on an ACTIVE battlefield, assassination IS NOT on the table. The problem with your position is that it ignores the Constitution regarding citizens. THe government is ABSOLUTELY forbidden from assassinations like this on the citizenry. They should have ARRESTED him, not executed.

    Check the law again. Broadband is now classified as 25/3. If the language in the contracts specify 'broadband' you might be able to say ' while i do have internet acces, i dont have access to broadband as defined by the FCC.'

    This is EXACTLY why we regulated the phone companies. We feel these services are needed by EVERYONE, so much so that we force the companies to provide reasonable access to every single address that is practically feasible. We do this so people can live anywhere in our great nation. It has nothing to do with market forces, We The People decided its too important to let companies pick winners and losers. Part of the deal with granting them right of way is that they have to do things that arent always profitable.

    It was dead either way. Either ISPs were going to go all cowboy or the gov was. I would rather have the gov do it after seeing how long and hard the ISPs fucked us. At least the you can get the gov to tie its own hands once in a while.
