    Wanna play online? Well currently there's no private servers, so you're only option is local lan play assuming it's an option for the game in question

    There's also pseudo LAN play over the internet which works on both hacked and unhacked switches. This only requires you to change your IP settings on the Switch and run a program on your PC. lan-play.com

    No, bitcoin is quite vulnerable, especially with some of the latest updates. The new transaction reverse feature is so easily abused as to be worthless. I can 'buy' something with bitcoin and then reverse the transaction. You're shit out of money, shit out of product, and shit out of luck. No real chance of recourse.

    Can you link to what you are talking about? I thought the only way to actually reverse a transaction in Bitcoin would be to control 51% of the hashing power in the system. (i.e. generate a longer blockchain without that transaction which would invalidate the block with the transaction)

    Unfortunately yes, from a benefits point of view domestic partnership is only recognized for same sex couples. The company's reasoning is that there isn't any legal impediment to us getting married so we should just do that if I want to include her. With today's court ruling they may start treating unmarried same sex couples the same way.

    It could very well mean no benefits for unmarried domestic partners now that they have the ability to get married. Unmarried different-sex couples, myself included, have been in that boat for a while. I'm sure it varies from company to company but for example, I can't get my girlfriend, who has lived with me for years, on my insurance but if we were a unmarried same sex couple we could call it a domestic partnership and then I could.

    That's a pretty good argument for the government getting out of the marriage business altogether and leave it up to religious institutions only with no legal ties. Marriage for none = Equality for all.

    It's dysfunctional things like the Electoral College which make we want to slap people who are overly patriotic about how superior our country is because of our government and laws. Sure, the founding fathers put into place a much better government that what it replaced but it's idiotic to think that they were perfect and that other Countries haven't been able to improve on those ideas in the past 200 years.

    A constitutional amendment just isn't going to happen and they are just blowing air (the same thing they've been doing for the past few years fighting Obamacare when they know nothing they pass stands a chance of making it into law). They simply don't have enough public support; MAYBE they did 20 years ago but the public is now in favor of equal rights for gay people. It would be easier to elect a Republican president who could appoint a more conservative judge when one of the current liberal judges dies/retires and then get the Supreme Court to reverse its narrow 5-4 decision.

    And jury nullification is supposed to be for juries to nullify illegal laws (i.e. unconstitutional ones), not laws they might have a personal disagreement with.

    The appeals process is how we overturn unconstitutional laws (Testing constitutionality is basically the Supreme Court's only job nowadays). Jury nullification is absolutely about overturning unjust laws whether the courts think they happen to be constitutional or not.

    You are wrong. It's Copyright Infringement, not stealing. Don't agree with that? Get Congress to pass a law saying the two are the same thing. Until then, I'll defer to the Supreme Court (see Dowling v. United States (1985))

    Or at least as a hedge against USD inflation. The Federal Reserve can't keep injecting money into the economy without it causing inflation. Sure, the government can keep playing around with how CPI is calculated to hide the inflation but it's still happening.

    True but ASICs aren't exactly easy to purchase right now. When they start hitting the market en masse in a few months, then GPU mining won't make enough BTC to cover the electricity cost but for now, it's still profitable.

    or just buy premade servers from dell or HP. they aren't that much more expensive, the drivers are certified to work and you get real support

    ...and you're guaranteed that every shipment will have radically different hardware, despite having identical model numbers.

    Sad but true. It makes it a PITA when dealing with disk images from one server to another.

    This bill doesn't eliminate working overtime. It eliminates being paid for working overtime. There is a BIG difference. After this bill, these workers will still be expected to work over 40 hours a week, they just won't get any extra money for doing so. I like the way California interpreted the Fair Labor Standards Act. Just making an employee salary like a manager instead of hourly doesn't mean that their job functions are suddenly different or that it's now OK to expect uncompensated overtime from them.

    A comment like that makes me want to break into this guys house and "steal" all of his stuff so that he can learn the meaning of the word.

    Computing the factors would be a pretty brute force way to do it. It'd be much faster to assume the factors you are looking for are prime and test the number to see if the known primes are factors. I guess that would add value to know a Mersenne prime that isn't known to the public.

    Once they receive notice that these logs might be needed in a court case they are probably required to hang on to them until the court officially decides. Otherwise they could be accused of destroying evidence.
