    Ok. You win with the more money buys more arguement.

    However, (while not explicitly mentioned in my orginal post) I was thinking of servers and software type anonymity. Not fleeing the country and living large in a Swiss Chalet or Grand Cayman Bungalow with my family and 10 friends under assumed identities certified by the state government.

    It is absolutely astonishing that some /.ers are decrying this act as internet censorship.

    If someone lives by the "Do what thou wilt." credo. It requires an understanding of cause and effect. That relation seems lost on some of these supposed anarchists and "internet freedom at all costs" soldiers.

    With that in mind, if I catch you with pictures of my kids (or ANY kids) that are even mildly suggestive prepare for the effect that you caused.

    The line blurs depending on WHO you work for and WHAT you work on.

    My best suggestion is to ask the person offering the job what they have in mind for someone of your skillset.

    Contamination of the water has been a concern and apparently according to TFA it has been addressed.

    That is really the big one IMHO.

    The video and acheivement is very cool. The video showcases challenging pre-programmed flight planning, software development, computer control system design, and device building.

    I wonder how close are they to having the autonomous versions of the quadcopters pull this off?

    I'm pretty sure that the price of the integrated HUD display trumps your vision prescription. Shouldn't be a problem to shape the lens to fit.

    Plus, it might not be possible to wear prescription glasses with the HUD contacts. It might effect the focal length.

    Judgement, yes. But not in a negative way really. It's also not an insult. Moore knows what he looks like and he want to look like this for a reason. I was just pointing out the obvious difference between him and us masses. This man lives in his head and spends much less time on our "plane of existence" than I. (Many genius people do.) Or compare him to Gandalf to the rest of the inhabitants of Middle-Earth, if you can do without a nerdgasm.

    My question of "have you seen him lately" was light-hearted and tongue in cheek as was most of my post.

    Further, I challenge you to gander at this google image search of "alan moore" and not find the humor. If King Theoden doesn't make you laugh.. the Lego Man should.

    Having collected the original 12 issues of Watchmen in my youth I certainly loved it. It expanded my own ability to digest a story with moral and societal issues in the forefront and still be entertained.

    No one can write better than Moore when he is on his game.

    I have mad respect for Alan Moore's genius and for the story he created with Dave Gibbons in the Watchmen, but have you seen him lately? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Moore Looks like Rasputin's cousin.

    That said,

    Please forgive us o' Lord of the Comic Book medium. Some of us want to enjoy the characters you have brought into our imaginations further than you would like us too. We *know* you could have done better than these other talented writers and aritsts. We will treat these pre-quels and the movie and all other non-Moore Watchmen writings as apocrypha, outside of the true Watchmen canon.

    They were detained for half the day and then sent home. Hardly, a witch hunt and burnt stake.

    It is more comical than anything else. "We are going to destory America" vs. "We are going to paint the town red". Opps. Mistake in the code that flags tweets for human intervention. The human agent(s) do not want to "miss" a potential "real threat" and investigate the couple. Shame on the DHS brass for not being savvy enough to resolve that the pair was not a genuine threat and then letting them into the country.

    Monitoring of communication that has been going on for YEARS in ALL developed countries. This just informs the public of the fact.

    Back in 1953 this very communication would have me on the radar of Senator McCarthy because I typed "paint the town red".
