I've been using godaddy - they are very cheap, responsive, and have pretty good customer service. The only issue I've had is there times when you would want a shell and can't get one....also, the free e-mail accounts only come with 10 MB of mail, but the for-pay ones come with tons more.
WTL was always open source. It was distributed as a bunch of header files (along with some sample apps and visual studio wizards). The big test here will be if Nenad will accept (direct) contributions from the community, or whether the community will keep track of bugs and document stuff while Nenad will code.
Nenad is amazing and has really been the core developer of the project (he is now the project admin at sourceforge), but it will be interesting to see the OSS process at work here.
Erricson F221M . I've used it before and it works well (for voice). I've used it for data, but that requires a serial cable (it acts like a modem). I would think about setting up a remote server or something. In my experience, Powertec has always been friendly and helpful. I live in the US and they have helped a few times with similar projects - they understand North American cell networks, etc.
Does anyone have any clue how blender fits in under 2 MB (*for most platforms)??? It seems like comparable programs (i.e. maya) are HUGE. Is it written completely in Assembler??!
And then charge anyone who wants to use it a royal fee. I can just see it now: "...but officers, it saved my life! You can't put me in jail!"
"Um, yes, but it was illegally copied..."
Check out msidg. They have phat hosting, and they also do web development so they know what it's like to need good uptime and the like. They are alos really nice, I have dealt with them on a number of occasions and they are very honest.
IKEA has a phat desk for ~$300 -- It's called the "Jerker". A friend of mine has it and loves it--I'm getting one next week. Plenty of room, it's expandible, and it comes with swiveling "planks" on the sides to put your printer, phone, etc, out of the way until you need it.
I believe this is true. If you look at the logo close up, you will see another message something like this: r e c r u i t m e n t s : o : u n : h a r y Check it out. I also found on the intro page to have a message: "Then you will see our message!" is followed by: **time-out** when I looked at it under uuencoded scrutiny. hmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Is there any new functionality here, or is it just a new name?

Do we really need a hacked English version if Sharp is going to release an English version in January??

Does anyone else notice a higher-than-normal cracking rate this past month/2 months?
