Microsoft doesn't know how to milk people for money, you say? Let's look at two of Microsoft's base products, XP and Vista. Now they could just release two full-featured packages, one of XP and one of Vista, but that's not how you profit.
This is how you profit: Making ten versions of two products, with minor differences in between versions, but charging $100 more to advance to the next level.

While it's not exactly merchandising, it's pretty damn close.
Hopefully you're not opening a lot of emails from addresses you don't recognize, either.
But I do agree with you there. If it's a number I don't know, it gets assigned as unimportant if I'm busy; I can check my voicemail later. A phone call could take anywhere from a minute to half an hour, whereas an email reply takes maybe a minute (although there may be more emails to send, one minute can be sacrificed here and there, but half an hour is too much time to devote to one nonessential thing).
Actually, it does show in Firefox... normally.
Ironically, Adblock Plus blocks the entire page. It registers as a blocked filter under whyfirefoxisblocked.com#body, which is the entire page, making a nice white blankness.
How did the 12 year old girl get a hold of her own car with her own license plates to have a record for the guy to find?

If you've been reading in the park 20 times in one month, surely there'd be somebody in the area who would be able to verity your story (ignoring the fact that you should never have been arrested for only that information, and unless you have an idiot judge, you wouldn't make it to jail).

Dude, though. If your car was stolen from work, surely there'd be some video evidence somewhere (security cameras from some local business, if not a parking garage where your car was stored) that would say your car left the area at 9:05am. But everybody in the office can attest to you being in a meeting from 9:00 until 10:30, or drinking coffee in the break room. If you managed to disappear for 8 full hours at work with not one person being able to verify that you were there, there's a good chance you were doing something questionable in the first place.

And I'm pretty sure if it was going to happen, the blackmail situation would happen with or without the tracking situation.
Stock they aren't much, but some people spend a lot of time repainting them to look realistic.
Imagine what this one looks like from 20-50 feet away:

Hiccup with my mouse caused a redundant hit instead of insightful. Sorry (canceling out mod point).
