I don't know if you were being sarcastic, but that's absolutely the most stupid thing I've hever heard. In this crazy capitalist country things only become popular because the rich, stupid technogeeks buy them, and that makes the poorer folks want one, and so the companies find a way to make them cheaper. Without stupid people, these personal computers would never have made it.
Just because it is small, does not make it nanotechnology. And all of these implications have been discussed to great length. I suggest reading some of the forsight updates at www.forsight.org. Also, there are many good books out there. The biggest problem people fear, is having a "buggy" nanobot, like the kinds which would reprocess matter, which, being self-replicating, went on a rampage quickly turning everything into "Grey goo". Now _that's_ scarry.
Really, I'm sick of this crap. Unless it's related to Linux/PPC or m68k or something similar, I'm just not interested. Apple is a bunch of mindless, heartless bastards and I will have nothing to do with them. Their systems suck now, and will always suck, and their proprietary, unethical business model sickens me.
