Big Pharma loves treatments (aka steady revenue streams), but they have NO interest in cures. They came up with drugs to keep HIV-positives and diabetics alive, but cures? Oh, nonono: not allowed, as they couldn't charge enough to make up for lost revenues.

Amen. A big story in my little GOPburg yesterday was about a dude pulled over for DUI and the trooper finding a BOMB in his car! A BOMB, A BOMB!! the media shouted - intentionally leaving out the word 'pipe', as 'pipe bomb' doesn't sell nearly as well as intimating 30 megatons worth of precious-snowflake-killing-death powered, no doubt, by Black Islamic Socialism. Naturally, the cops played along, dragging the bomb disposal unit across the entire state to blow up the car so they could all achieve a brief erection.
