"Internet Radio will morph into P2P streaming and offshore stations. It's not going anywhere."
As for the first, I don't think P2P was made for the kind of streaming that stations do. What a moronic statement!
Offshoring won't happen unless there is a profit motive, this is pretty expensive. But P2P is definetaly occuring as we speak.
Either can and will happen but the extent is debatable to which I think it's another topic alltogether.
You can argue all day about what constitutes a "good" wage, but supply and demand is busy setting the true fair value. Complaining about that is like complaining about gravity - say what you will but the law still applies to you.
Too bad, gravity sucks. On top of that it's completly self-centered and thinks everything attracts to it...
Heh. Given that, say, the in-game auction house on WoW has an instant buy option too, I wonder how long until they'll want their cut there too.
And will they take the license fee in game money, since that's all that changes virtual hands? I can just see a party of lawyers riding to Ironforge and Orgrimmar to demand their license fees. But, the AUP for WoW states that you cannot make money selling stuff, so...
These lawyers would get their accounts suspended or even cancelled very quickly. Must be why they haven't filed suit yet...
Offloading rending to the card, better use of the second processor core, and using more
| of the RAM to cache applications, I did notice an increase in performance.
I too noticed a increase on my new game rig, but really, nothing to write up and post with a set of bargraphs and other evidence. Matter of a fact I was dissappointed. I was going to get Vista Ultimate 64bit, but it can't be found out here. I'm sure it's in a container on route, but I decided I'm not waiting and I have a bad feeling about 64bit versions of any OS at the moment due to many dissapointments in just about any OS camp. I'll get a XP 32bit license for this box instead.
