I have to admit its not exactly pocket sized, although if you have combat pants you could probably fit it in side pouch. I haven't found anything that doesn't fit in them side pouches.
I thinks its all a big con to waste china's money. Besides by the time they bother to implement it it will all fall apart with the year 2038 problem anyway.
I agree that the blender workspace is more productive and somewhat more artistic. If you look at even commercial software such as Maya or 3ds max there is essentially very little difference other than the interface and i find 3ds max interface perplexing confused and illogical (looks like some one ate to many widgets and threw-up) blender was a semi steep learning curve but once you have the basics a bit guesswork you can make some alright looking models even without any experience. But then again i like Povray better than any other 3d stuff out there.
I doubt the "spyware" will be easily removable, especially on a account with no privileges. I don't doubt however the fact that the average parent is either not technically capable or more likely simply doesn't care for chatrooms social networking sites and respects there child's privacy to a certain extent (im not talking about letting 12 year olds loose on the internet) but if there of an age (14+) or so, there perfectly aware of what risks lie on the internet. Parents should be less worried about what there kids are doing on sites like these and more consernd what they are doing hanging round the local drug lord.
I think the cost will be a very important matter not just for the players but the actual medium its self.
This is why my bets are on HD-DVD the consumer does even know what HD is fully so why would they ever want to buy a product which is essentially to them a expensive DVD player no doubt with DVD's twice the cost.
So what exactly are they asking to be done, youtube shut down? Youtube is banned at my college even though i need it to do work. Well not exactly work more of a distraction so i have the incentive to do work...
Why is this news international i mean realy has no one ever chucked a brick through a school window before? At my old school they used to chuck bricks through car windows and once a bus for disabled people, that dint even get into the local gazzet
