The first person shooter that took four years to make is just poo.
This type of attitude bothers me a lot. Romero poured his heart and soul into this game, and even though it was totally over-hyped and underachieving in the end, Daikatana made it to store shelves. I think this was an incredible learning experience for John Romero and I hate to see people criticize him non-constructively. Obviously the game did not turn out the way it should have ideally, but the least people could do for his time would be polite...
I read an interesting quote once, "Once you finish the first 90% of a project, then you have to finish the other 90%." A lot of people think John Romero is an immature partygoer that never does a full days work. I disagree. It would have been so easy to give up at the end after being delayed so many times, but he bit the bullet and saw it to the end. Congratulations to him!
Take a look at this article to take a good look at the "Daikatana Process". It's quite long (took me an hour to read) but very in depth and thorough.

Spriggan is an interesting action based anime movie on the creation of life on earth et al. Some VERY cool action fighting scenes and interesting villians.
KareKano or Kareshi Kanojo no Jijyo (sp? sometimes abbreviated kknj) is a love story invovling two top performing highschool students. I love the music in this one. It has both serious and funny moments, and I love the way the drawing style changes to reflect the tone of the scenes.
These two (and Cowboy Bebop mentioned above) are my favourites and are highly recommended!
When the range of the network is so great, what is to stop anyone with an iBook from just walking by and hopping on to your network? I don't know much about the airport's wireless networking. Would anyone like to go into it with a bit more technicality?
John Romero has stated in a few interviews that if there is a Linux port, it would only be server side. I guess there is still the possibility that Loki could do a full port for ION Storm..?
I signed up for the Star Trek: Armada Beta test that was held recently (last month) using a hotmail account. I was one of only 100 people selected to test, so I think knowledge of your own system and your system specs have more to do with it.
How does it work without compromising the image?

Does anyone know how this works without altering the image? I mean, if the copy is not "perfect", many people would choose not to use that product for their copying purposes. According to the first link (Privacy Forum) in the article, the watermark is "invisible". So.. how is it detected?
Sibelius is primarily a music composing program. I've used Sibelius7 first hand on an Acorn computer myself. There is a feature to play back what you have composed but it sounds like wavetable type instruments. What I think this new development is is an improvement on the playback to make the instruments sound more real, that's all. (ie no auto-composing features etc)
