  1. Does a lawyer exist that is not biased on IP? on The Circus Widens In Aftermath of Pirate Bay Verdict · · Score: 1

The way RIAA, MPAA, and their international sister organizations throws money and lawyers around, there cannot exist too many who have no affiliation with them...

  2. Re:Abusers turn their attention to the Internet. on Euro Parliament Warns Against Overzealous IP Enforcement · · Score: 3, Insightful

Good to see that the European Parlament is in tune with what the pirate bay generation already know; that there is a change in the rules of the game.

  3. OLPC and Sugar on Comparing the OLPC, Classmate and Eee · · Score: 1

I just received an OLPC, and having played with the machine for less than a day, i also must applaud the Sugar dev crew. It is intuitive, and invites to further exploration. Only thing i really miss is a progress bar of some sort, or maybe a hourglass pointer, or something. It is a slow machine, and sometimes it is difficult to see why the machine stops up. Cool machine, though, and refreshing to not have to relate to the xerox/mac desktop paradigm that everyone else uses.

Please, send your reasons for why this is crazy to 'Charlie.Mc-Creevy@ec.europa.eu', and hope that EU is not as completely in bed with the record industry as the USA is. _________________________ in spite of all the evidence, im still optimistic...

  6. The XO on OLPC Launches Buy One, Give One Free Program · · Score: 1

Ive just ordered one, and cant wait to recieve it. It is weak, and slow, but that is totally besides the point. The small size, the unconventional design, and least but not last, the near total rethink on how a computer should work makes this the coolest ebook reader, and portable browser! Oh, and it is a good cause! Go Negroponte!!!
