Well, you're right. 800x480 is a very standard resolution, but we're talking about Motorola, right?;-) Having 854x480, you still keep one axis standard (480) which makes 800x480 applications easier to port. Just google the different resolutions and you see which one's more popular and widely used:
Well, I've got 30/30 full duplex (although the contract says 30/10) and have at least 1.5 TB up/week. Rather expensive though, about 400 SEK / $60 a month. No limits. Of course I live in Sweden.
But why not encrypt the entire fscking system partition then? It's really easy, and with TC6 you get multithread support, so with a modern computer you won't even notice any performance degrades.
I completely agree. And yes, I also paid - but after I downloaded the free first volume and listened. This is a perfect example of how artists should promote their music. And the artwork, oh the artwork. Really beautiful.
[...]the tracks are strange, but work suprisingly well Well, it's NIN, isn't it? I like it. They uploaded the first volume (which can be downloaded from their own site) via some public bittorrent-trackers.
When searching and trying to sort by a column that isn't there, you get an error message.
In my case, while searching for greenhouse gasses in the world and sorting by -value-, i got this result:
Invalid column name 'eValue'.

Hmm, interesting article. The definition of "prank" isn't just name calling and flaming. We have to re-define the term to include modern equivalent actions that corresponds to the term "prank". What is an acceptable on-line prank and what isn't?
I think that you and your parent misunderstood me. My first comment in this thread/tree was
Slashdotted: The site is sooo slooow. Mirror please! Then I replied to someone claming
Actually, I've been having trouble accessing the site all day. So that's why I mentioned DDoS.
Actually, I've been having trouble accessing the site all day. That sounds like DDoS in my ears: New revamped version with nice features => site goes mysteriously down and is partially accessable with response times at over 10 seconds.
The whole world is not urbanized, and there is a need for cars. True, but public long-distance transports, such as buses and trains, may be used instead of trips by car.
Ok, I'm sorry that I didn't point out that I use my bike(bicycle, not motorbike) for transportation. I live in Sweden and the cities here aren't built like they are in the US. Most of the cities are rather old and not built optimized for cars, so there are for example supermarkets in downtown and the use of car becomes optional.
You don't need a car here, so my view of looking at the need of car is rather negative in general.
Granted, I wrote "when literally everybody affords a car". What I ment was actually more about what would happen with the environment when everybody uses a car - because everybody can afford one.
About your #1: Yeah, and that's very important. If the music doesn't sound good in lo-fi then the general public won't like it which leads to less profit. One would almost wish for a "audiophile"-release of that special album that one loves - in this case get it as FLAC?

Well, have some code that you claim is secret and valuable on the "clean" data, and then all your warez on the other one.

Nice initiative.

Quick-fix: ctrl+a.
Don't we all love those offensive fortunes? They deserve to be broadcasted to everyone! :)
I think that has to go under the "amusing pranks and creation of internet history"-category.

Well actually.. Err.. Maybe it's the other way around ;)
to fix the exploit wins!

The site is sooo slooow. Mirror please! But the update seems great!
RTFA! Unix-time is the SECONDS since Jan 1st, 1970 (not counting leap seconds). Often stored in a signed 32-bit integer, called time_t.
I would guess that happend before my lifetime, you insensitive clod.
Imagine the Beowulf-cluster needed to do that...
It will really be interesting to see where this technology will be used in, and when it reaches ordinary consumers.

This sounds like a really nice idea for the people, but what about the environment when literally everybody affords a car?
