    So instead of being available to anyone who can get the signal its only available to those who can communicate with it. This will probably limit the number of positioning systems that can be used at one time. I hope they will make provisions for emergency uses of the system.

    The work done at the Technion as well as elsewhere around the world is starting to attract the attention of the aviation industry with the hope of creating green aircrafts with a much higher endurance threshold.

    I dont really see this being applied to commercial passenger or cargo planes. Maybe ultralites.

    Without question, the process of choosing a standard, pre-built PC or building one yourself has become almost trivial over the last few years. Given the caliber of hardware on the market, even with just a little bit of knowledge, it is difficult to purchase a system today which would not be suitable for nearly any standard application.

    Sure off the shelf systems are will do what you need, its about bang for your buck.

    We know a lot about chemistry here on Earth but I think we make a lot of assumptions about what is considered proof of life or liquid water. Unless we see cells dividing under a microscope we won't know anything for sure.
