I don't even think the Constitution is a consideration these days for politicians, if it ever was. I think they just pass whatever the hell they want, and let the courts sort it out. Then rewrite as needed. But the way some of the supreme court justices act towards the constitution, it seems as if its barely in effect.

Eric Rudolph and that dipshit sniper are not the same as the thousands of Islamic Wahhabists who are intent on killing all non-believers.

Hmm abortion clinic bombings and related killings? Whats that? They werent innocent? Well thats what the people who fly planes into buildings, use truck bombs, and blow up naval ships would say.

What I hate even worse are the laws restricting clothelines and many easy to grow plants from your property. I personally like dandelions, but if I ever dared grow them I would be running afoul of the local law.

They have that no clothesline law two towns over. Basically they are saying, you must use fossil fuels to dry your clothes because clotheslines are an eye sore. Politicians pass these laws, then talk about what a great land of freedom this is, it makes me sick.

I wonder if you painted a clothesline or unregistered car and called it art, if you could get a judge to see it as protected speech. If not, maybe a ten foot picture of a dandelion on your front yard.

Its illegal to have an unregistered vehicle, unless its in a garage or you a cop(can you say class warfare, apparently cause registered cars look much better... http://www.net10.com/ 10cents min, 5cents text message. Even at these prices its hard to justify text messaging. Someone sends you a text you send one back, thats the same cost as a minute of voice. And you can usually get what you need to say done in 1 minute but not 1 text message.

While I usually think the less government interference is best. The FCCs plan to make all broadcast TV digital will speed up adoption. As a person without cable(yes I know its 2007, but I refuse to pay $40/month) who gets his TV from an analog antenna and bitorrent. Im not sure where this leaves me. Ive looked into how I can watch digital broadcast now, and Im not entirely sure what kinda hardware I need without buying a new TV. Once digital broadcast is the only choice Im sure I can get a digital antenna to analog kit for $20 somewhere. Its not like the FCC doesnt already dictate technology. AM/FM, the cell spectrum, they have already dictated what part of the spectrum is for what. Lets just hope they dont start charging for broadcast TV. The FCC already sold off the cell spectrum, which is now being sold back to us at riduculous prices. $.05 for a text message?
