#1 - You're a Muslim, which apparently means it's your nature to be offended. All you hear these days is Muslim so-and-so is offended. Big whoop, you're offended -- get over it, and come back to the table with open minded discussion. It's what we ALL need to do. One beautiful thing that still holds true, is nobody has any right to not be offended. Simply put, it is UP TO YOU whether or not you feel offended. I can't MAKE you feel that way. It makes no difference to me or anyone else that you feel that way. Call me anything you want, make any points or statements you want, and you won't offend me one bit. A man's opinion is his to form and share. This is a fact Muslims apparently hate from their core -- if you don't share the Muslim faith, opinion, way of life, law, etc. you are of no value as a person. Talk about epic denial, it's part of your fundamentals as a Muslim to hate those who don't share your POV!
#2 - I nor anyone with half a brain would ever deny there have been epic crimes against humanity committed in our history, by many groups of people for many stated and unstated reasons. The core point is, we should be aiming to not repeat such crimes, yet the current state of affairs puts the entire civilized world firmly in conflict with one generalized group of people -- Muslims. Pretty much every major conflict of the past decade has been reactionary to some act of cowardly violence committed by Muslims. Bombing of embassies. Bombing of public transportation. Bombing of office buildings. The use of commercial aircraft to strike office buildings. Are you catching all this? lol. Anyone who can justify the intentional killing of unarmed and unaware people is simply a sick individual. Someone who commits or is in agreement with committing crimes such as those the "radical" Muslim community are committing in our current day and age has obviously not learned the lessons of the past you mentioned in your post. It's been 60+ years since Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and guess what -- Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. have not been struck with a nuclear weapon. Seems the USA learned from their actions, while it is well known the Muslims are actively seeking nuclear technology with the intent of using it.
#3 - In many of the crimes previously committed, most of the involved parties have been able to settle the dispute through whatever means and move on with productive lives which INCLUDE each other. Christians and Jews get along. Jews and Buddhists. Christians and Hindus. The list goes on and on with one glaring omission. Switching to the political level, pretty much everyone gets along as well. Last I checked, the United States and Japan have pretty good relations with each other, despite WWII. The United States has pretty good relations with pretty much all of the countries which fell under the old Soviet Union too. The list goes on and on. The wars of today are different - the world is fighting against ignorance and intolerance, and fighting an enemy of cowards and murderers. Terrorism isn't a means to an end, it's a cowardly attempt to justify horrendous acts. The biggest question I have is what point are these suicide bombers trying to make anyway, other than they wanted to murder unsuspecting civilians and die a coward? That is truly the message they're sending to the rest of the world. Non-Muslims just don't "get it" despite how hard these bombers are "trying." Maybe they should leave a note.
You know, the biggest thing that baffles me is the fact the largest religions of the world all started from common roots and beliefs. Christians, Jews, and Muslims all believe pretty much the exact same things up to just about 2000 or so years ago. Then it takes a few turns and gets ugly. Maybe the human race hasn't evolved to the point we all think it has; 2000 years isn't a very long period of time in the grand scheme of things.
Amen, the Muslims can deny anything they want, it doesn't change the truth. Kinda like how they say they're peace loving, and not a barbaric people. Last I checked, peace loving people weren't strapping bombs to themselves, women, and children and sending them into areas populated with civilians.
*Note: This is a stereotype. I understand not *EVERY* Muslim is part of the problem. However, stereotypes exist because a large portion of the target population exhibits a certain quality, character, or characteristic. In other words, "if the shoe fits..." If you're Muslim and upset by my comments, it's time to introspect and reflect on WHY you're upset.
This is exactly why there's a site called www.2old2play.com... Nothing better than a bunch of (potentially) liquored up gaming junkies with guns and headsets. Its so much more enjoyable to play with more mature gamers who are interested in the same thing. Sometimes that is objective-based, sometimes that is laugh-based. Either way you walk away from the experience with a smile on your face, instead of wanting to shoot the little retards for real. For anyone 25+ years old, its well worth the time to join up and add some good folks to your friends list.
They might have 10 million OUT the door, but 9 million of those came back IN the door -- to the repair center. I'm about to ship back Xbox 360 #3 and get #4... The 360 might be a better gaming console than the PS3, more fun, better online experience, blah blah blah -- but the damned things break far too often.
Before any MS fanboys start wadding up the ol' pink and lacys they're wearing, my unit is far from abused. Climate controlled house, standing alone in free air (both power supply and console). It never moves, its never dusty, etc. It just sits there, and it even works sometimes.

You'd think they could allocate a little more bandwidth to each channel so they don't sound like pure compression artifacts.
