I enjoyed the Halo SP campaigns because they gave a sense of "one man vs. the universe". Playing it co-op with some whiny kid would not add to my experience.
It is time for 1) Microsoft and its users get their act straight and work on better security for they machines Given that Windows has hundreds of millions (if not billions) of users, and that a significant portion run pirated versions (and therefore avoid installing all flavors of patches), how exactly do you expect all of them to close up their machines? Do you suddenly expect the Chinese, Koreans, and others to have a conscience about this kind of shit?
Sounds like someone is used to programming Windows drivers... No, it merely confirms that there are lazy programmers creating crap code for all OSes, including Linux.
'preventing the launch of the Truphone service' and 'abusing its dominant position' by not routing calls to Truphone users. Is T-mobile required by law to route calls to other service providers? I'm not familiar with the UK Telco laws, so maybe someone can shed some light on this.

Can't read that site from work here, however, it's likely a spec sheet / preview sheet based on a preview/press model. Given that Sony is now well known for changing hardware mid-production (see - no more Emotion engine chip) - I wouldn't give these preview specs too much weight until the final products ship.

My favorite is what they're doing with the new version of the PSP. Of course, Sony could have named it something like... PSP lite, PSP-2, etc. Instead, the morons name it PSP-2000. That's so.. 1999. I'm surprised they didn't make it more "hip" and call it the PSP-2k.
This is definitely one where people should read TFA. The judge tears their motion apart, and stops just short of saying, "I award you no points, and may god have mercy upon your soul."
I believe the DVD sales, moreso than a petition prompted the movie. Hell, high DVD sales are what prompted the return of Family Guy and the pending return of Futurama.
Does anyone recall any online petition that actually caused change?

Or, the guy stole their source code and profited off it, and now they want a cut for their hard work. It really all depends which angle you look at it.
I finally got my first look at Vista yesterday. I'd heard the horror stories and have since avoided it like the plague, but I got the random "Wah, fix my computer" call...
After spending an hour removing bloatware and random MS crap utilities, I finally freed up enough system resources to play around a bit, and needless to say, I am not impressed. I don't consider this FUD - Vista actually DOES suck the big one.

Any Italians here that can answer that question?
Who honestly "revered" the term hacker?
It may be bullshit, but it wouldn't necessarily be (potentially) illegal. I'm just curious as to why an injunction was issued.

I'm pretty sure you're confusing composite or component with coaxial.
You're aware that this hasn't shipped yet, right?
From the third line in the summary:
It is cheap and easy to make, and could also be used in flexible, rewritable, electronic paper. All signs are pointing to the PSP-2000 being locked down so as to prevent homebrew (or Linux) running on it.
And it's called white-out, duh!

I've got a fever... and the only prescription.. is more cowbell.
I'm outright shocked (and awed) that Microsoft wasn't mentioned as a villian. This has to be a first.
This therefore begs the question.. Can a keystroke logger also log waggles?

Ah yes indeed. Too bad I can't copy over my saved games :-(
Apparently "I disagree with you" can now be represented by a Troll mod. Thanks.
