Actually, I checked the Wikipedia entry for dominant male. A little quote:
In humans, the expression refers to a man who is powerful or high on the social ladder, similar to hegemonic masculinity. In Western cultures, the term is usually pejorative and describes a man who is overtly or affectedly masculine to the point of rejecting any affront to his ascribed status.
The question is how did they choose the dominant males and the subordinate?. You can well go to a company and test with a Manager and young new employee, but I don't think that biologically there are any significant difference (at least not correlated with the dominant/subordinate biological trait). The article is pretty short on details of how the test was conducted.
I don't think so. With 99 invitations per user, I think everybody that wanted a GMail account could get one, I doubt there will be much more growth now.
I have seen the invitation system as something that made you want have a gmail account. When the invitations were more limited, it was kind of VIP to have an account (actually, gave the feel of VIP only).
Maybe this is the first step to end the beta stage of the service...
I wonder about the software in the device.
From the article I understand that content "can be delivered and bought through TIMs mobile network via a regular SIM Card within the device". This may screw up the device, not only because the provider can ask for insane amount of money for the service, but because it may not have what I want to read.
I guess most popular newspapers will be there, but what about PDFs I download from the net?, what if I have a Safari account that allows me to download books in PDF format?

OGG is the container, Vorbis is the compression codec. It's like AVI, AVI is just a container, it can have a video compressed with Xvid or DivX.
