    Except for the fact taht the vast majority of games won't be on Linux for years if ever. In the next couple years I think we'll see a fairly large number of games going full cross platform, but no one but Valve going to go back and make their old games work for Linux.

    For their games maybe. They can't promise any such thing for everyone else.

    I think Kickstarter is far more valuable to Linux than Steam in the short-term, in the long-term though Steam will proably be more important

    Or because Windows works fine for us and the alternatives lack significant features (like a 20 year library of AAA games) that are important.

    I own an Optimus V, the upgrade to 2.3 was never released for us, it was supposed to be but then they decided to release a new phone instead.

    I rooted mine and am MUCH happier with it now.

    I moved Facebook exclusively to Firefox, I use Chrome as my primary browser. This has cut down how much time I spend on FB (which wasn't much to begin with) and makes it a lot harder for FB to track me.

    That beign said, while this is tragic what it boils down to is that you should never post anything on the internet that you aren't ready and willing to own.

    You must be talking only about your own opinion, because the emperical evidence suggests that the amount of lies told by a candidate has no impact on their electability.

    Does choosing a candidate based on whether they can mime to a song, make me a bad person?

    It seems like as good a test as any we've devised so far.

    The appointment to the different committees in Congress is done largely by politics. Some of the committees are more prestigious and powerful than others, congresscritters start with the lower committees and work their way up as they gain personal power and prestige in Congress

    Agreed.

    I also agree with the point, though for a different reason. Eating the same thing every day, unless it's carefully chosen, may result in not getting all of the micronutrients that your body needs, variety makes it far more likely that you're getting everything your body could want.

    You are implying that the average user knows or cares how much information is gathered. I posit they do not. I just recently stopped using Facebook on Chrome and switched Facebook (and only Facebook) to Firefox so that it can't track me.
