It is ridiculous to say you could use this for a satellite. Yes, you could throw this up into orbit in a satellite and it would probably work for a little while before radiation issues. If you are buying a multimillion dollar rocket, you can afford to throw down more than $35 for your satellite bus. If you are hitching a free ride on rocket bought by a third-party and just wanted a few day of LEO orbit, then yes Raspberry Pi could be an option. If you have a free ride to space, you might want to spend a few more dollars to guarantee a longer mission life.
I can't wait to do this! It will probably be easier and more rewarding than my project to turn my muscle car into 2 sport bikes. It will just take some a little soldering, two panther licences, a bunch of engineers, and magic.

I have an old edition of this book and it is filled with information about almost everything. It even goes into detail about the beebs made by your bios during the POST. I sure you can find an old copy that has all the information you will need for a couple of bucks.
The Biltmore is also one of the best and most famous resorts in located in Phoenix. There are also some not so famous Biltmore hotels, not part of the orignal Biltmore chain and not nearly as nice.

I could never get it to run on my 486DX, I didn't have enough memory!

I have seen a dvd player that also plays mp3 cd's. It was cool, but i don't think you could search through the mp3's while playing one.
All the real secret testing is done in North Africa in the middle of nowhere. Nothing takes place in the States any more.
