I'm quite upset right now... I run a few fairly popular websites from my cable connection, and I'm not even running ISS, or Windows for that matter, so why do I (and my viewers) have to suffer? I can understand why AT&T is doing it, but still, it irks me... Just another example of Microsoft (indirectly) screwing over people that don't even use their software...
I'm on the internet through a cable connection, and I have about 20 different domains hosted on a server in my house, all using the same IP, apache's directive and some creative CNAME's in my DNS records... It's been working great for like two years now, and it's definately a viable solution to the IP shortage...
My band Entrophy (http://www.Entrophy.org/ -- shameless promotion) releases all of our stuff on our own label, aptly titled Fuck Labels! Few will find the humor in it but oh well...
